When I arrived to the room, I did see a bunch of dead bugs/flies in the shower which I thought was strange but I cleaned that up and tried to be mindful of the heat and the insects that draws in to cooler spaces.

From the moment you stepped into the lobby to arriving to your room, you knew the hotel was well maintained and had an initial feeling that you were going to have a great level of care during the stay. The complimentary shuttle and the pool were by far my favorite amenities to the hotel aside from the hotel water & fresh cookie upon arrival. Wonderful experience and would stay again!

There are no elevators to the second floor further away from the lobby. Had to pull luggage up and done the stairs.

We left to a Salt Water river tour in the morning and when we came back the room had not been cleaned. When we arrived to the hotel they forgot to mention about the ideal time for room service that would fit our itinerary. We had to call front desk and ask for service done at our room. Our trashcans were full and towels wet, good thing is that by the time we were back from the restaurant they had come to do the service and the room was good again.

I liked the spacy room we got. I travelled with 3 more friends and the room was pretty spacy. There was an extra sink outside of the bathroom which made it so nice, for whenever anyone wanted to wash their hands, brush their teeth or get ready to go out. The neighborhood was extremely nice.

The carpet was very dirty in the room and bathtub did not drain very slow. Rooms need to be updated and clean.

Housekeeping kept trying to come by and clean my room, when I had selected a late checkout.

My food was overcooked. French toast and wings were WELL DONE and the wings were drowned in sauce! The flatbed pizza was good. Breakfast service was very slow with only a few diners.

Friendly greeting and signature warm cookie upon arrival. Large room and amenities. Amazing landscaping. There's even a catcus garden! Several pools, bars, a tennis court, spa and exercise room. The balcony was great for sunsets and bird watching. The hotel is close to restaurants and malls.

The drinks were pretty expensive. There is not a ton of food in walking distance. We also felt pretty enclosed in the resort. Additionally, we would have liked to see more seating at the pool.

I loved the pool area. I would recommend getting there early as there are not a ton of seats. I love how close it is to Old Town Scottsdale. It was a short Uber ride away. I was able to book a room the day of our stay, and our room was perfect! The beds were really comfortable, and our patio was really nice!

The bathroom was a little basic and everything felt like a little bit of a walk, but that's part of the ambiance. The cons did NOT outweigh the pros.

Room cleanliness can be better (e.g., vacuuming carpets) Bathrooms are in need of small repairs (our toilet was hard to flush and dirt was showing out of the water tank) Frequently the property would run out of water in the water stations (i.e., where you grab water in a plastic cup) and of towels at the pool. The times & availability of the hotel shuttle wasn't very clear (once it wasn't available until 11 am, then it wasn't available until 2 pm, etc.)

It’s mentioned in other reviews, but this property is very very large, so lots of walking. Our room was in the very back of the hotel and it truly was a very far walk when we needed to go elsewhere! The valet workers were called whenever we were wearing heels and didn’t want to make the trek, which was a life saver. The bathroom for the price paid could’ve been more spacious and the shower updated. The water pressure was severely low, very basic older model shower head, and outlets all over the hotel room were finicky when we needed to charge our phones. Compared to the other hotels in the area, it felt a little overpriced.

The location was very close to most restaurants we had reservations to. The landscaping, fountains and desert plants/cacti on the property were stunning and really added to the location. The lobby and overall decor was beautiful, the on-site restaurant food was great, and the staff we encountered went above and beyond. Alonzo and Zamara were really helpful and friendly! All of the valet men were great and took us to and from our hotel room that was all the way in the back of the large property. The beds were comfortable as well and we loved that there was a Starbucks in the hotel.
