Wished the public sitting areas could have been open for use but understand why they couldn't be - namely due to Covid restrictions.

Breakfasts changed every morning and were very good. Our hosts were both very personable and helpful when asked for suggestions regarding things to do and places to eat for other meals.

OK. If I must. The toilet paper holder in the Perkins Cove room could have been better placed.

Our hosts,Bill and Michael, treated us like honored guests from arrival to departure. They were warm, helpful, full of information about the neighborhood and very funny. The inn is beautifully decorated, spotless, perfectly comfortable and the breakfast was beyond delicious. The shower was great, too.

the only negative is that the property is in a highly trafficked location and sitting outside was noisy. However, the room was insulated and very quiet.

The property was well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. Hosts were congenital and helpful; breakfast was amazing. Beautiful gardens! COVID restrictions were in place.

Our hosts were lovely. Our breakfast had the best eggs Benedict! Our hosts offered a first floor room when they saw the brace on my partners knee. Thoughtful from beginning to end. Just a very lovely comfortable place to be. We highly recommend!

Nothing!

Michael and Bill are exceptional hosts! The restored house is IMMACULATE and the breakfast is out of this world. My wife and I have only one regret and that is our travels allowed only one night's stay! Despite inevitable covid restrictions, the stay was wonderfully open and friendly. It was clear that the other guests enjoyed their stays as much as we did! We WILL return.

It has become — in our modern world — a rare thing to be welcomed not as a customer or even as a guest, but as a friend. This was our experience at the Elmere. Michael and Bill welcomed us into their charming bed and breakfast with so much warmth and grace, it felt like we’d known them for years. The accommodations were elegant and clean. The food was made-to-order fine dining (with gluten free options). The conversation was genuine and funny. More, these guys are advocates for the Wells community and cheerleaders for neighboring businesses. That we only stayed one night!

There was so much love put into every aspect of the property! The breakfast was amazing and we loved the owners! Our room was quite small but it was perfectly appointed and every detail had been thought through.

This is not major, but I wish there had been some counter space in the bathroom and softer pillows.

Gracious hosts. Fabulous breakfasts with really nice background music. Beautiful grounds, lovely furnishings and very comfortable bed. Windows that open. Very quiet.

Mike and Bill, the owners, made our stay very special from the moment we arrived until we were walking out the door to leave. Their breakfast was wonderful and the dining area was delightful. It is obvious that Mike and Bill are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, high quality experience. We will return and will recommend The Elmere House B&B and to anyone traveling to southern Maine.

There is absolutely not one negative thing I experienced staying here. This place was above and beyond my expectations. If I had to rate this B&B on a scale from 1 to 10, it would be a 20. Mike and Bill are the best hosts ever!!

Breakfast every morning was delicious! The location of the Elmere House was easily accessible, quaint and exquisite. I truly felt like I was at home. This is one place I plan on returning to when I'm travelling in the area.

Perfect location to explore Kennebunkport and Wells. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Michael and Bill prepared a delicious breakfast for us and gave us great tips for exploring town. We will be back!

After spending a day at the beach it was difficult to dry our towels and belongings. They remained damp. There was no where to hang them to dry. Maybe we should have asked Bill and Mike for suggestions.

Bill and Mike were exceptional hosts. They were informative and social. The B&B was always spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was hot, delicious and plentiful.
