Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThose older beds can be quite lumpy so it's hard to get a good night's sleep at times. For someone who has a very sensitive nose, the spray that I assume is the air freshener is rather overwhelming, but I understand the need to keep things sanitized given the number of people and spirits that are always passing through ;-)
GREATLY appreciate Gavin's immediate assistance with the leaky window from the rain storm by moving us to another availability since the carpet was getting soaked and we wouldn't have been able to keep the AC on since it's right by the window and if you know anything about the Crescent Hotel, those older rooms can get quite stuffy quite quickly no matter the season but it's still an awesome place to stay! LOVED the Haunted Tour of the hotel by Jinx, especially will all the great personal stories she shared - just wish there was more time since the time allocated just didn't feel like it gave it justice given ALL her awesome expertise!

United States of AmericaThere was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the windows were painted shut which made for sauna conditions after a shower. It was disappointing that the ghost tour was so expensive and wasnt included with the room which was a bit pricey as well.
The Hotel was extremely comfortable and charming. The food was off the charts good. The staff went above and beyond.

United States of AmericaThe Coffee was horrible! And when the front desk was asked if our breakfast was COMPLEMENTARY we were told it was! IT IS NOT!! Upset about that! Someone needs to explain what COMPLEMENTARY is.
Absolutely beautiful! I love the church down below. Beautiful place to meditate and pray. The Hotel it’s self is Majestic! The staff very friendly and helpful!

United States of AmericaThe interior of the property was ok, but the carpets need replacing along with lots of touch up paints. Rooms were pretty tired, drawers didn’t close, toilet didn’t flush well and shower/tub needs to be re-grouted. 4th floor bar area “Top of the Creat” had a nice view, but cocktails were brutal!
Eureka Springs is a great town and the hotel was walkable to downtown albeit a big elevation change but that’s the area. It is a neat old hotel and grounds & trails around it were very enjoyable! The staff was also very pleasant.

United States of AmericaIt’s exactly what you would want in staying in a historic hotel. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and it had the vibe my family was looking for. The ghost tours were amazing and we booked in advance. My family loved the heated outdoor pool.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are quite small (as you would expect historically) and the toilets are very low - a bit difficult for those of us that are a little older. The next morning after breakfast, we took our bags to the car, went for a walk and came back to the room only to find that the beds linens been removed and there were no towels left in our bathroom. We hadn't planned on leaving just yet. The housekeeping person apologized profusely. We hadn't returned our keys to the front desk yet and it wasn't close to the time when we needed to check out so we were a bit surprised.
Hotel and staff was very nice. Beautiful woodwork. Our first night, we weren't in the mood for pizza and there wasn't another restaurant open in the hotel but the shuttle took us down to the Italian restaurant and back. Dining room breakfast and staff were very nice. Lastly, we didn't detect any signs of haunting in Room 207.

United States of AmericaOur unit didn't have a working hottub, although it was advertised. The family was very disappointed. We stayed here two years ago and some of the furniture is beginning to show a lot of wear.
Perfect for extended family holiday gathering. A kitchen for making coffee and warming muffins before heading out to explore the town. Shuttle was a blessing! Hotel hosted a variety of activities for all ages. The units are tucked in the hillside, and the design reminded us of Thorncrown Chapel.

United States of AmericaOur room was obviously older and smaller with double bed. A mirror in the main room would have been a nice touch since the bathroom was small with a pedestal sink so hard to place personal items. The curtain rod on one window was falling and the window was dirty but probably not easy to clean on the fourth floor.
The hotel lobby had lots of character due to it's age. The setting and grounds looked beautiful. We only stayed one night so there was probably much more we could have down. We had a drink on the fourth floor balcony, listening to a musician, while we waited to be seated for dinner across the hall. The pizza was excellent as well as the view from the outside dining terrace. I also went on the Ghost Tour which was fun.
