We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

United States of AmericaPool & hot tub were advertised- even pictures marketing it’s availability…When checking in, we were told pool closed related to maintenance…… the darn pool hasn’t been opened all season. So, we were told an untruth. It needs to be taken off as a filter. I purposely plugged in pool as an amenity & it wasn’t available. I would have chosen a different place, so it’s misleading. As a company, you need to take it off as an amenity.
Easy check in, clean room,great staff. Fred , our attendant for breakfast was so attentive & great at his job.

United States of AmericaHotel was under renovations and was not the cleanest. My family and I stayed in a newly renovated room and it still had construction dust in it. We went down for breakfast and there was hardly any food. I travel for work and stay in hotels a lot and have paid less for better places and was not the norm for your brand. The construction site at the front of the hotel was a complete mess.

CanadaConstruction can be understandable but provide your guests with a discount to put up with it. Parking was minimal at best. No parking space lines meant it couldn’t be used to its capacity, because people were double parked. Noise, lots of it night and day. Where were the staff? No front desk staff around. We had to give out room keys to one of the cleaners, as no one was available for check out at 9am!? very disappointing Marriott. I have a feeling many who stayed this past weekend, won’t be coming back.
The benefit in location depends on what you want. This place is a short jog to the horse park, which was in line with our needs.

United States of AmericaThe entire first floor is gutted to the studs and dust covers everything. The hall to the elevator had extension cords across them for the construction workers. At 8 am, you knew you were in a construction zone.
I like the location. It wasn’t far from where we needed to be, and in close proximity to restaurants and shopping.

United States of AmericaIt took 3 times coming back to the desk to get key card to work. The heater in the room was defective and emitted to much heat. Finally just turned it off. Outside temp tire was 21 degrees. Room got down to 53 degrees. Thermostat would not function. Outside of facility was cluttered and dirty due to construction. With weak lighting in lot.
The ladies at the front desk we’re very friendly and helpful. But it took a while to get key card to work.

United States of AmericaWe stayed here while on a road trip down to Florida. The stay first started in the parking lot where my son found a used syringe (needle). The first room we went into smelled terribly of mold and after a little search we found the wall lined with mold between the beds. I asked for a different room and walked in to the same exact stench! At that point I was ready to leave but they insisted on us trying a different room on a different floor. Thankfully no mold but just dirty. If it weren’t late and we hadn’t driven for hours on end we would have left. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was stuff smeared on the walls, rust, the bathroom didn’t even look like it had been cleaned…… just overall not a welcoming environment. As a Marriott member that travels for work I was extremely disappointed and have already created a Hilton account after this experience.
It was a place to sleep after a long road trip.

United States of AmericaWe was there 3 nights. Arrived after 12am, the first night they couldn’t get the keys to work, changed rooms still couldn’t get the keys to work. (I just drove 6 hours I was very tire) had to use master key. Next morning they have me new keys again they even tried still not work. The manger came reprogrammed it, said it was fixed. By this time I had tried to turn the TV on remote wouldn’t work, went and they gave me a new one, went to room couldn’t get in, key wouldn’t work. They came down and tried again, finally the manger came and programmed again. Also they said the TV was unplugged. So we had things to do and left. Came back keys worked,😁 no TV did this again about 2 more times. The manger came back and tried the TV didn’t work he said he couldn’t believe it. Went and got the real remote and we never had another problem. So was my stay good no it was not. I have family there so I will be back in town but I will not ever stay there again. Also the carpet had a hump in it as you walk down the hall . We tripped every time. Also the AC the carpet was off and they had a 2x4 holding it.
