Wasn't too much food places in the area. Rooms were clean but needs to b repainted as paint was peeling.

1. Room is old and has smell; had to change rooms because air conditioner did not work in first room. 2. Breakfast quality poor, unless you like only cereal and old bananas. Bread was stale. Coffee was not hot. 3. Need to tell your van driver to expect tip only when he gives good service. Otherwise they are being by paid a salary for their work which is to drive and load/unload bags. Drop off at airport was just that - a drop off.

1. Location - short van ride from JFK airport 2. Clean room, adequate for 1 night stay 3. Enough restaurants near by for eating options 4. Surprisingly, shuttle van pick up was good; had very bad experiences in the past - very late, and always full. Driver was pleasant and helpful, timely and van had space.

Receptionist in the morning (gentleman) was ignorant and rude, Such a shame as the lady who checked us in the night before was charming, helpful and funny. Nor=thing much in the immediate area, some fast food joints and a small shopping centre but if you're just using the place to stop over for a flight them no problem

Good room, complimentary coffee and water available in reception. Airport shuttle runs on the hour and can be delayed depending on traffic and number of pick ups/drop offs - we waited over an hour at JFK for our pick up. Check in receptionist was excellent.

The bed and especially the pillows were hard and not comfortable. The walls were paper thin and every bit of noise (and there was plenty!) kept us awake. We were arriving from a week in NYC, not on a flight, and I wrote twice to ask the best place to be picked up. I finally had a generic reply telling me to contact them once we had cleared customs and collected our luggage! As a consequence a helpful member of staff at the subway station looked up the address of the hotel and told us where to get off the subway and which bus to catch to the hotel (included with our week's unlimited metro card) and didn't have to pay the unnecessary air train fee, which we probably would have had to do had we used the free shuttle to the hotel.

It was a bed for the night with a free shuttle to JFK airport, we were up and out by 4am so didn't spend much time here or have breakfast. We were pleased to have been given a ground floor room by the lovely lady at check-in as the elevator wasn't working. All staff we encountered were very pleasant. Plenty of fast food restaurants within walking distance.

Shuttle: The shuttle is 24 hours as advertised. However, it leaves the hotel every hour, on the hour. Which means that you have to wait for upto 1.5 hours at the airport for the next shuttle. This is what happened to me. I was at Terminal 8 at about 1215 Hrs and when I called the hotel, I was told that the next shuttle leaves the hotel at 1300 Hrs and it should be at terminal 8 by about 1330 Hrs. I was picked up at 1335 Hrs from the terminal. Breakfast: Pls do not book this hotel thinking that you will get a great / decent breakfast. The day I was at the hotel, there was bananas, tea, coffee, bagels, cereals, marmalade (Pls see photos for full items). No eggs, bacon, sausage etc.

Bedroom: Decent size and since I had a room almost at the end of the hotel, it was very quiet and no noise issues, except for people using the laundry from 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs. The laundry room was just opposite my room. Location of Hotel: Distance wise not much of a distance from JFK, but traffic is bad and it took 15 - 30 minutes. 15 when traffic was not bad.

The AC was old, the shuttled driver at 5.00 AM in the morning was not the overly friendly type, ex-army type (none of this was really an issue)

Can be noisy at corridor. As a foreigner without mobile line arrived at 12:30am, need to ask stranger for help to call for shuttle bus. Free wifi at airport is useless.

Friendly staff, shutter bus, continental breakfast is great, receptionist gave me a bonus sandwich from burger king. So grateful. Close to shops and fast food chains. Would stay again for same purpose.
