Not really that close to the airport, so if you can't shuttle the taxi is around $US50-55. The free shuttle back to the airport worked well. Otherwise, it is as expected - an acceptable not too expensive place for an overnight stop.

If you arrive late and are hungry, bring something to eat because there is only coffee available at the hotel. Breakfast was quite modest. Location is so far away from Manhattan that it took more than an hour to reach Manhattan by Uber.

Shuttle service was great bonus and worked well.

We found the hotel a bit expensive for what you got, but its proximity to JFK and the free shuttle still made it worth it.

There is a free airport shuttle which is very helpful! It runs 24 hours which is great. You have to call to book the shuttle. It would be great if there was a way to book the shuttle via message/email/text as we were traveling internationally and our phones don't work unless on wifi. Luckily a helpful local made the call for us! It's about a 10min drive between the hotel and JFK, which is super convenient!

Collection by the airport shuttle took over 45 minutes to collect us, but in fairness there were roadworks at JFK and so that was not really the driver's fault. It was difficult for us to phone to arrange pick up as we did not have international calls on our phones - it would be helpful if there was a means of contact (such as whatsapp) that was data reliant instead as there is free wifi at the airport.

Close to the airport, big room and good facilities. Only stayed overnight between flights, but would happily book again as beds were very comfy.

Wasn't too much food places in the area. Rooms were clean but needs to b repainted as paint was peeling.

1. Room is old and has smell; had to change rooms because air conditioner did not work in first room. 2. Breakfast quality poor, unless you like only cereal and old bananas. Bread was stale. Coffee was not hot. 3. Need to tell your van driver to expect tip only when he gives good service. Otherwise they are being by paid a salary for their work which is to drive and load/unload bags. Drop off at airport was just that - a drop off.

1. Location - short van ride from JFK airport 2. Clean room, adequate for 1 night stay 3. Enough restaurants near by for eating options 4. Surprisingly, shuttle van pick up was good; had very bad experiences in the past - very late, and always full. Driver was pleasant and helpful, timely and van had space.

Receptionist in the morning (gentleman) was ignorant and rude, Such a shame as the lady who checked us in the night before was charming, helpful and funny. Nor=thing much in the immediate area, some fast food joints and a small shopping centre but if you're just using the place to stop over for a flight them no problem

Good room, complimentary coffee and water available in reception. Airport shuttle runs on the hour and can be delayed depending on traffic and number of pick ups/drop offs - we waited over an hour at JFK for our pick up. Check in receptionist was excellent.

The bed and especially the pillows were hard and not comfortable. The walls were paper thin and every bit of noise (and there was plenty!) kept us awake. We were arriving from a week in NYC, not on a flight, and I wrote twice to ask the best place to be picked up. I finally had a generic reply telling me to contact them once we had cleared customs and collected our luggage! As a consequence a helpful member of staff at the subway station looked up the address of the hotel and told us where to get off the subway and which bus to catch to the hotel (included with our week's unlimited metro card) and didn't have to pay the unnecessary air train fee, which we probably would have had to do had we used the free shuttle to the hotel.

It was a bed for the night with a free shuttle to JFK airport, we were up and out by 4am so didn't spend much time here or have breakfast. We were pleased to have been given a ground floor room by the lovely lady at check-in as the elevator wasn't working. All staff we encountered were very pleasant. Plenty of fast food restaurants within walking distance.

Convenient stay to go to and from JFK. Shuttle service was easy.

Shuttle: The shuttle is 24 hours as advertised. However, it leaves the hotel every hour, on the hour. Which means that you have to wait for upto 1.5 hours at the airport for the next shuttle. This is what happened to me. I was at Terminal 8 at about 1215 Hrs and when I called the hotel, I was told that the next shuttle leaves the hotel at 1300 Hrs and it should be at terminal 8 by about 1330 Hrs. I was picked up at 1335 Hrs from the terminal. Breakfast: Pls do not book this hotel thinking that you will get a great / decent breakfast. The day I was at the hotel, there was bananas, tea, coffee, bagels, cereals, marmalade (Pls see photos for full items). No eggs, bacon, sausage etc.

Bedroom: Decent size and since I had a room almost at the end of the hotel, it was very quiet and no noise issues, except for people using the laundry from 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs. The laundry room was just opposite my room. Location of Hotel: Distance wise not much of a distance from JFK, but traffic is bad and it took 15 - 30 minutes. 15 when traffic was not bad.

The AC was old, the shuttled driver at 5.00 AM in the morning was not the overly friendly type, ex-army type (none of this was really an issue)

airport hotel, industrial neighbourhood, not pretty but close to the airport and ok for one night, nothing fancy - nothing terrible, overlooking a river or lake-type water body in the back and that was kind of nice, airport shuttle every hour and airport pick-up on demand
