The room was slightly too small for four people.

We didn't like the room we had. The lady at the reception proposed another one, on a higher floor; the staff moved our luggage to the new nice room with a view of Empire State.

The entrance outside was tired and dirty, so first impression was disappointing, however improved once inside. No breakfast available.

The location was excellent, nice and quiet, view of the Empire State Building from our balcony was an unexpected added bonus. The house keeping was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful.

The lighting in the room isn't great, and the room itself is very very basic. House keeping was good and kept the room clean, but the actual carpet/ furniture etc. is dated and dirty. The bathroom wasn't great either, but honestly for a 3 star hotel you get what you paid for. New York is so expensive so if you are looking for a higher end hotel, you will pay an arm for it. The staff didn't interact much and could have been a bit more accommodating but I wouldn't say that they were rude either. House keeping were lovely.

The location is excellent, 10 minute subway to time square, West village/Greenwich Village, Soho. Subway is only a quick 2 minute walk from the hotel and the actual subway station is one of the cleaner ones we've been to. The beds were super comfy and the shower was easy to use. The location of the hotel is very close to everything and in a nice area, its only about a 10 minute walk to the heart of Chelsea too. For all the time we spent in the hotel room it done the job, literally just getting ready in the morning there and coming back at night to sleep.

Minus the washrooms the property like outdated. I was looking at the price they normally charge and it felt that the complete ambience of the hotel and room did not resonate with the charges

Washrooms were very clean and the location is walking from Times Square. The concierge gentlemen was very kind and knowledgable he knew about the taxis, subways best routes and he took good care of our luggage in clock room which we kept after our checkin. He was very approachable and kind.

Did not know that the heat only works with a remote. Even after learning this, our room was either too hot or too cold. We also really needed a mini-fridge which the room didn't have. I overheard another guest request a fridge at check-in, a request that was granted, which means some rooms have them.

The hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and made a great first impression. The room was clean and the hotel provided daily housekeeping service. The location was excellent, very near shops and subway. If you like to walk, you can stroll up to Madison Square Garden or even Times Square from here. There are two excellent coffee shops nearby and Whole Foods is a block away.

The location was sketchy. If you walked on the wrong side of the street in the evening it was littered with strange and potentially dangerous people. NY had also changed so if you walk to Times Square it is even worse. If you walk west I and downtown it is OK.

    The property was decently priced.

Parking was a few blocks away for an additional (but discounted) price, There was no extra room in the bathroom even to put my toilettes. Bath tub was rather old. If napkins could be provided, it would be better.

Location was amazing. Value - outstanding. It was clean. The floors were uneven - this is not something to like but maybe a part of the old structure in the middle of NYC.

I believe the beds are smaller than queens and another customer was also at the desk concerned about the same thing. Worked out fine for us. If you know 4 people are staying in room, there should be enough coffee and towels for 4 people.

Some of the front house employees ignored you . They are a hit and miss., and did not treat all guests the same. Some of the housekeepers need more training with respecting guests . Front house has to realize they are the first impression of the hotel . Needs renovation very dark and needs updating. Most of the rooms were cold. On the nights they have events the restaurant is to loud. They need to adjust the volume and realize that guest need to rest .

Close to eateries and shopping. Laundrymat near by
