Air conditioner smelled rather funky while running. Spider and a moth in the bed during the evening. Tv remote was very difficult to use.

My first Room was dirty. There were dog/cat hair, stains, blood stains on the sheets. I had to transfer to another room.

Location was great.. went to salty pirate, the aquarium, and was only 10 minutes from Radio Island! Also my daughter loved the pool, we stayed in there two nights til 11 when the pool closed.

Booked through Affirm , but when I got there end up having to come out of pocket for everything for some reason . Toilet stayed running the entire time , room phone didn’t work . Bedsheets had stains that looked to be pee or maybe a soda. The idea of breakfast wasn’t really breakfast in my opinion , no meats or even eggs .

The furniture seemed a little used or outdated. There was an odor, like something moldy, when I first arrived.

The room seemed decently clean when I arrived, but the closer I looked it seemed that the linens might be been washed, but they had stains and looked dirty in places. On the edge of the bed, thankfully in a place where I wouldn’t naturally step, sit or lay, there was an open pin that had been left by a previous guest. The bathroom did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned between guests. There was hair in the tub and folded into the towel used as a bath mat. And just before I left I went to dry my face with a washcloth that was folded and hanging up for use by the sink, and it smelled dirty and used.

It was priced appropriately given the closeness to the holiday (July 4th) and the last-minute nature of my booking. The staff was nice and it was easy getting the reservation done, checking in and checking out.

I’ve stayed here once before last year for one night and didn’t care for it. Accidentally booked it for about a week this year, per the pictures it looked like it had been remodeled and upgraded and it was too late to cancel so I kept the room. The room I received was indeed not upgraded per these pictures. Air conditioner was weak. Plumbing in the bathroom was struggling. Error on my behalf and didn’t realize room service had to be requested until the next day after we checked in. They came once in five days, annoying but not a deal breaker. Front desk was doing her best but could probably use additional help as she seemed stretched thin. It’ll get the job done but don’t have any expectations. The price is what you receive.

Location is ideal if you can’t get anything on the island. minutes from Atlantic beach, Morehead and Beaufort. Outdoor pool is open late. Plenty of neighboring stores.
