A little run down but ok

We were given a room on back side this time and it's less desirable than the front side. Less secure feeling and kind of run down looking buildings on other side of parking lot. The fridge didn't have a freezer section.

This was our third time staying here, so I'll say about the same thing I did previously. Parking is easy, right in front of the door, very easy to move luggage etc into the room, very wide spaces so no concern about door dings. Also very well lit. Room was larger than average Two chairs in the room Two sinks, one just outside the bathroom, made it very convenient for both of us. Vent fan in bathroom. Room was clean, better than average. Beds were good enough. Breakfast was good. Will stay here again as we travel this route a few times per year.

Really nice check in staff, friendly and helpful. On our way home from Kansas, weather prohibited traveling in the dark. It was just me and my daughter, the room had a mini fridge for some food we were traveling with and the breakfast included in the room was good. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, varieties of drinks. Pancake machine, which is fun. Bagels, cereal, toast. I thought the bed was going to be bad but the pillows were great and we both slept well. It’s quite a big room

Breakfast could offer something for people that are gluten free, less starch & carbs. It had no protein or fruit to offer AC/Heater didn't work well

The room could use some attention to repairs. The door frame was damaged and the tile in the bathroom floor needs attention. It was very difficult to get the deadbolt to engage. The water has a peculiar smell/taste, but it is the same at a restaurant on the other side of town also, so it must just be how the local water is. None of these things are big enough issues to keep us from staying here again. It works well for us.

Property was older and rundown. Spots of urine on toilet seat and black hairs in the sink. Found an animal claw stuck in the carpet by the bed. Some outlets did not work.

The property was located right off the interstate, so very convenient when traveling.

Beds could have been more comfortable, but they were good enough. No shampoo in room. They left us soap and conditioner, but apparently forgot the shampoo.

Room was clean, not perfectly clean, but nothing that bothered us. Better than average. Beds were good enough. Breakfast was good. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place to stay along Hwy 36 so we could avoid the traffic along I-70 between St Louis and Kansas City. This turned out to be a very good alternative to the lodging we could find on I-29 north of KC. We will stay here from now on when traveling through here.

I had booked king, non smoking, and asked to be on the front side of the hotel since i was traveling alone. (Looked back on reservations and now says queen smoking,not sure how that got changed, I'd never book that🤷‍♀️) When i arrived a little after 9 p.m., i was given a queen room, smoking, very last room, back corner on back side of hotel. There was a fence, and on the other side, gas station/truck stop. Could hear the semis. I didn't feel that safe since i am a woman, traveling alone. (I do travel a lot by myself.) It was more of a full-size bed on a metal frame that squeaked and moved, like screws were loose every time I moved. Room felt dirty, just maybe needs a deep cleaning or remodel. Or maybe just because it was smoking room and location. Traveling alone, I didn't feel that safe there. Blanket and towels were on thin side. There are no electrical plug ins on bedside tables to charge your phones. After reading all the reviews first, and the cost I expected a little better.

The shower was hot, and water came out fast. Had microwave and fridge in room.

Pretty outdated, bed wasn’t the best, bathroom door stuck (assuming humidity). Little loud as my dog reacted to all neighboring people leaving (parking directly outside of rooms). I didn’t plan to use it but pool broken.

Front desk person was nice, location had free breakfast and ice machine. I was looking for something late in the night and central to my continued trip. Coffee maker in room, fridge and microwave.
