The restaurant & wine. The disconnect and how far my room was from the office.

I liked the nice customer service. The restaurant was just ok. The red wine not good. My room was ok. I would have loved slippers. The check in was great as well as the check out.

Overall this was a good standard room, although the hotel itself is a bit dated. It is decent value for money and close to grocery stores etc., except you do need a car. It is right beside the freeway, which is good for access. The hotel itself was very quiet and spread out, with loads of parking.

This is not a walkable neighborhood. The small bathroom needs upgrading. There is indoor-outdoor carpet, while modern rooms have hard surface floors. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room, amenities I have come to count on when traveling. The television was quite small and the channel selection limited.

The room was well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. I loved the window treatment. This is an older place and while they are doing a lot to make it attractive, one can see the deterioration in the chipped doorways and trim, as well as the worn hallway carpet. It has great meeting facilities and a fabulous heated pool. It is evident that at one time it was a REALLY great place to stay. Staff is excellent…friendly and accommodating. The small limited menu restaurant and the bar are convenient. 24-hour security is present.

Noise of freeway (and staff walking outside window). Room was very dated. Also, despite reports, hotel no longer offers complimentary shuttle to nearby transit station.

Nice hotel. We had requested a room with a pool view which we didnt get but mentioned that to the manager at receptio and they were happy to move us. Pool was lovely

The location was quite easy to get in from the freeway and out back on the freeway.

Our only complaint was the size of the bathroom. No counter space.

Loved that you could purchase to-go coffee. Coffee was very good.

We found a dirty towel in the bathroom and a piece of chocolate on the carpet. Makes you doubt about the place hygiene. There was not an elevator and a lots of stairs.

Room had a few things missing. The television's outlet cord was gone and there wasn't a shampoo in the dispenser, only the conditioner dispenser.

Staff was welcoming. They let us check in early. Our room was spacious and clean. Also the hotel location is right off the highway.

Couldn't really fault anything.

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a road trip. Hotel is good and very well priced compared to Downtown San Diego, especially for parking. Sort of no frills but certainly did the job fine.

I had to struggle with my bags since there was no elevator.

The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and having the restaurant/bar on site was great. I also loved that the jacuzzi was operational the entire night.

The air conditioning was very bad the room felt stuffy and hot at certain points of the day I’m not even sure there was air conditioning the only thermostat adjustment was a fan and we had it at 60 and it was still hot in the room.

I like the area the hotel was in we had everything around us with a short drive. It was close to the location of our stay and very convenient.

I believed it would be newly renovated, looks like it was stuck in the 1980’s.

there was only half a roll of toilet paper when we arrived in our room. had to ask housekeeping the following morning for additional toilet paper

Bathrooms could do with a refresh

On site pool and restaurant was very good. Pool was open late which was awesome. Rooms were large and had a nice feel to them. Fashion mall within Short walk

A lot of noise from the adjoining rooms. Sad to hear people yelling and fighting with each other.

Easy to get too not too many B.S. charges although parking was charged. Kinda silly there was plenty, and I feel like this is an unneeded charge.

The beds were small and we didn't finally get all of our rooms until 4 pm. They also charge for parking which should probably be listed on the website.

First time staying, when going to room about 8pm, police in hallway a few doors down, helicopters overhead, domestic dispute, mom in hallway sobbing, child had been taken by father. Upsetting, alarming, kind of killed the vibe, warm, comfortable feeling we got checking in.
