Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Power outages occurred a couple of times, and lights flickered, but that wasn't something they had control over

The main access driveway from Zeeb road does not have any visible signage, so it is impossible find it at night.
This might sound weird, but it's very convenient that a "Grand Traverse Pie Company" store is in the near by strip Mall. And although I haven't taken advantage of it yet, Metzger's restaurant is in the same strip mall.

Bathroom could have been cleaner; urine stain under toilet seat, bathroom floor little dirty. Rest of room was fine though.
Location wasn’t far from what we were in the area for. Nice lobby, large breakfast choices.

The TV system needs a revamp. The channel selection was pretty good. It had all the news channels and major networks. My complaint: the channel guide wasn't operational. There was no way to tell what was currently on or coming on later. The desk clerk said it was in the works. I'm hoping it happens in the next year as I will stay again when I am in the area.
Very nice hotel. Everything was great with one exception noted below.

Shower floor was so slippery. We both almost really hurt ourselves slipping and falling in the shower. Never experienced such a slippery shower. Scary. And Hand soap, body wash and shampoo wasn’t great.

The third night we changed the room and what a mistake because the bathroom was disgusting and very humid and mildew

Location on a complex busy intersection. They took an hour to find our reservation. Tha fault for that might have to be shared by booking.com.

Our door was unlocked when we arrived to it and there was a big hard alcohol bottle in our fridge so it looked like someone was using the room
The welcome desk woman was awesome. Very hospitable and funny. Was a very long drive that day so being greeted by someone like her made all the difference haha.

The staff was not always present when I went to the front desk. Our room was not adequately cleaned (dust on fixtures, mirrors dirty, no extra toilet paper or tissues). We were unsure that the bed had been changed/made after the last travelers because it looked a little disheveled. Some small upkeep and maintenance needed done in our room. The parties that we traveled with seemed to have the same dust situation.
Breakfast was good with good options. 24 hour coffee is appreciated.

To check out, there was no one at the front desk. Other employees could not locate the front desk clerk . After about 10 minutes waiting to check out, he finally showed up.
