Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The access road to arrive at the entrance was hard to find coming from the interstate. Not well marked.
Excellent breakfast attractively presented. Food was fresh and hot foods warm.

There was a lot of running and loud bangs coming from the rooms above us all through the night and early in the morning.
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.

The water pressure sucked. The lady who checked us in. Asked if we wanted extra pillows. We said yes and she said someone would take them up. We waited and nothing so I called and the guy who picked up the phone said we have to go down and get the stuff. Then when I got down there. He says they don't have extra pillows to give out. That they don't do that. So not sure why we got asked when we check in. Side doors don't work.

Bathtub was slippery. The botrle for handsoap was empty at the time of arrival. Trash was no pick up after the first night.
Great location and facilities. The room was spacious with a very nice and practical design.

Location was great. The breakfast was really good but when we stayed there was a baseball and basketball tournament going on somewhere and we had to deal with the kids right above our head keeping a lot of noise. but around 11 PM everything calm down.

It was a nice hotel but not almost $200 a night hotel
It was a clean property but was not aware of the water damage in the hotel. falling wallpaper and missing ceiling tiles on the thirds floor. and the second floor had several rooms with mattresses up against the windows visible in the parking lot.

Temperature issue in the room. Thermostat fell off the wall. Pancake maker wasn’t working. The door would not lock the day we left. It was like it wouldn’t latch to enable the key. Worker helped us, but by then our kids were awake. All in all, minor things.
The breakfast was great! Beds were comfortable.

There was no coffee in the machine when I tried to get some so I went and bought one from the store. We did not attend breakfast

Difficult to load hot food on to your plate due to poor design of counter. Food was not hot. $50 refundable charge at check in, was told it was because I reserved through Booking.com

Room was hot when I arrived; air was off. Remote for TV didn’t work. Front desk asked me to come down and get new batteries. This required 2 trips.

It would have been nice to know the pool was closed. We specifically were booking a hotel with a pool to be able to swim while on vacation. When we went to check out the pool there was a sign saying it was closed by the health department 5 days prior to our arrival. I booked past a month in advance, had I been made aware I would have canceled and picked a different location. Love the Holiday Inn but that was disappointing.
It has very clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was fantastic!
