Variety of breakfast

The hotel was in a dark shady area. Rooms were old, damaged walls, stained mattresses, burned out lights and nasty musky smell.

The lobby to the hotel was nice.

the elevator was broke my whole stay. after checking in the woman tells me sorry the elevator is down right now but there are men here working on it should be running by tonight… long story short no elevator and i was on the 4th floor, wore out and helping a elderly man each time the next day i asked a man at the front desk about moving to a lower level room he basically told me i couldnt nothing was available yet someone i met there informed me to go ask they were just moved to 2nd floor. very upsetting !

While the staff was friendly, this is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Both times seemed that there was something wrong with the room. The first time was a handle broken and the chair for the desk was broken. This time it was a light out and the coffee maker didn't work. I also would have liked more choices in the breakfast. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and at least have more options than one breakfast sandwich, a granola bar, and a bottle of water.

The locations was great. All of that below is little things that were wrong. The hotel staff and the rooms are clean. I notified the staff of the problems and they worked to get them fixed if they could while I was here.

Honestly the place exceeded my expectations especially considering the price of room a really excellent value

just got a bagel and juice but everything looked fine. Nice big area to sit and relax and nice TV there also Very clean and nicely lit area for breakfeast

Mold in bathrooms. There was a cockroach in the hallway that we killed and left on the carpet. We told the front desk so they could get pest control out. 24 hours later, the cockroach was still there. Obvious that they don't vacuum the hallways. Looks like they did a renovation awhile back, but not doing the upkeep to keep the mold out or keep it clean.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was as-expected (eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt). Beds comfortable.

The staff ran my credit card separately for the 3 rooms I booked and tacked on $50 per room, which won’t be refunded for two weeks. My back thought it was faux so they rejected one room. They called me and asked for my credit card number over the phone. This was all prior to the check in time so if I wanted to pay with cash, it was too late. Very shady financial practices. And of course I did not give them my credit card over the phone, to which they threatened to cancel my reservation. Wish they had so I could have gone across the street or to one of the other ten hotels near by.

Check in was slow, she wasn’t sure what to do when I asked to change my room to double beds. The smells! Uhg! Strong “air freshener” chemicals smell in the lobby area. The elevator stank and so did the hallways. There was a yappy dog in the room next to us. We could hear it barking all day. Our room felt grimy. Not clean and again, The smell was not fresh. The floors were dirty, wearing socks they turned black. My son found a roach in his room and I saw one crawling on the wall. There were brown staying on the side of the mattresse and on the sheets. We have pictures to document it. It was so bad!! If we hadn’t had a whole group of young people, we might have tried to go somewhere else. Breakfast the typical Comfort Suites fare, but the strong “air freshener” was hard to stomach. The parking lot at night felt sketchy.

Nothing, I usually choose to stay at Comfort Suites, but this stay and my last one where terrible. Couldn’t wait to leave.
