Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds were a little harder than we were use to so we didn't sleep as well.

Fridge door was missing a part, so I had to lay drinks flat on the shelf. Coffee could've been a little warmer at breakfast. Honestly not much to complain about.
Quiet location just off of a main route, so easy to get to. Friendly front desk staff. My room was clean, no weird smells, and linens looked fresh. No stained comforter like some budget motels. Nice big shower and plenty of towels. Nice sized fridge, as well as a microwave and coffee maker. Curtains kept the light out well at night and there wasn't a lot of noise from the adjoining rooms. The free breakfast was excellent. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fruit, juice, waffles, pastries and coffee! Made a sausage, egg & biscuit sandwich that kept me going once I was back on the road. I've already recommended the motel to friends who travel this same route and I will definitely stay here again on my way south.

Room smelled bad, like some kind of strong cleaner designed to clean up a prior foul smell (maybe a pet accident). The front desk staff were not unkind but seemed a bit cursory/rushed. Probably doesn't draw the most diverse or inclusive clientele. (I only saw white guests.) There are some more welcoming businesses in the town center but the neighborhood near the hotel had some strongly conservative political messaging. (It's election season.)
The room was spacious and well-appointed (mini-fridge, microwave, desk), and the linens were clean. The wifi worked well. Parking near the room was easy. I didn't try the breakfast. The on-site restaurant, Elliott's, was decent. The location was a short drive to the national park visitor center and various trails/attractions. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to some of the main businesses in town. Price was a bit high for this type of motel but that reflects proximity to the park.

small super soft pillows , seems to be the norm across many brands but they are not comfortable .
Handy location minutes from the NRG National Park , Babcock SP etc nice hotel plenty of parking it was tail end of winter but still bustling with all types of guests , we had a nice stay the room was clean the bathroom good everything worked well tv fridge microwave etc , beds were comfy .

The location is good for visiting New River Gorge National Park. We have a hearty breakfast which is included with the accommodation.

Room could have been cleaned a bit better, but I am rather picky. May not have bothered others.
Very nice breakfast, everything you could want, with lots of variety. Super friendly staff both in the lobby and in the bar which was a fun place to hang out for an evening.

Good value for the price
Great location, quiet and clean. Beds were firm but I slept very well. Shower was great, with strong water pressure and massaging shower head. Plenty of towels.

The TV was so bad, couldn't watch local channels. Don't think the thermostat for heat was working correctly. The 'Bar' was supposed to be Open Sunday, but was Not. Checked out a day early and was penalized $41-first time that has happened to me. Will Not be staying there again!!

The buildings outside could use a refresh, but for the price I was satisfied.
Price was very reasonable. While this is an older location, the bathroom and beds were very clean. Comfortable for an overnight stay.

At night there was a fair amount of light streaming through the top of the large window in the room. Not sure what they could have done to prevent that.
Nice hot breakfast with waffle and fruit options, liked the fact a restaurant was on the property if needed, like the coffee maker, refrig and microwave in the room.
