stay was not at all worth the money looking at the money side as i paid $200. apart from that i had requested them for room decoration but they just put 4 ballon in the room with no happy birthday banner or any tag or anything.

Staff no so great.. especially at the bar during evening (could not care less about customers in general.. too busy looking at his phone).. also not sure this an Hyatt thing but no water bottles in the bedroom? Weird

Breakfast was good, and personal in the dining area were courteous too.

There were bugs coming out from the drain in the bathroom, we told them and never fixed the issue, we were too tired to keep asking them, they were not really welcoming when we got there plus we didn’t have cleaning services either.

Bayview room was a peak a view. Actual view was awning top. Mounds of dirt and buildings. High crime area my car was broken into.

I appreciate the staff escort to my car at 4 a.m.

Room backed to busy trains which were loud. We inadvertently left a few valuable items, returned a half hour later to retrieve them, well before check out time, only to find they were disposed of…our dog dish, several sheets of focaccia we traveled 3 hours to purchase. Asked the front desk to retrieve them, our request was denied. Paid to have our dog stay, but they didn’t provide dog bowls or a bed. Poor customer service.

We were especially charmed by the staff. Tamara and Shelby were very accommodating and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Please give them some extra attention and accolades. They're the reason why we'll return to this location, rather than choose another local hotel.

I could hear the people above me!

Location was surprisingly excellent for walking to shops and so close to the Emeryville Public Market! The room was so spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the people right above me was quite noisy and heavy footed. Overall, a very nice stay!!

I’d like a refund for Room 204 or 339. I asked staff to move me 5 times and they offered me another room on the noise side where the train comes through. I had to go on line book and pay for room 339 to get a good nights sleep but poor management took the lead in demonstrating poor, disrespectful service and after I booked room 339 the manger REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. Moreover, once I paid for the 2nd room James the night staff made me suffer an additional 45-1 hr before he would give me a room key and asked for ID after I already had provided this for Rm 204. The delay in reporting this is because my brother died 2/27/23.

Breakfast was a bit cold and/or stale. There was also a vomit smell to the room that you could tell was not cleaned up fully from the previous occupant.

The area around gave lots of options and shopping ideas. Also, very easy to get around and onto the freeway.

Very nice & safe location. The breakfast was superb & very delicious & good variety. I appreciate all I got from Hyatt Place. Good team of staff. Amber was good & efficient. Manager & Ms J. too. I always love to come here to relax & unwind. Very good hospitality too. Keep it up ❤️👍

the staff we’re asking for extra towels since there’s 6 of us the staff gave a wrong information on how to call for towels was told dial zero you will not be directed to correct person and you have to wait for long time the staff were rude giving directions and not accommodating since he’s by himself and attending to one customer only and he’s overwhelmed

I didn't like that the kitchen wasn't available for orders beyond breakfast however I understood the fact no cook staff were available staffing issues,- however there were lots of outside options for delivery. Overall still a great stay.

I liked how friendly the staff were. The over all atmosphere of the Hotel was awesome. I loved the free breakfast and it was really good.

The room had bed bugs and despite us complaining and asking to be moved to another room, it was not done. We were informed that the team who checked did not find any bugs, implying that we were lying Complimentary water was not provided, we had to buy House keeping had to be pushed to do the beds
