Room 136 was closest to the south exit door. Lots of dust and trash on the entry floor. Carpet leading off that hallway was dirty.

A little refresh may have been needed. There were chips and dust under the bed where your feet walk to get in the bed. Overall the room was clean. There was a pod holder missing from the coffee pot. I had to get one from the front desk.

Not the fault of the hotel: road construction galore. Makes the area a little confusing if you haven't been to the area before BUT not inaccessible or detrimental to access it or the stores/restaurants in the area.

Location was a 5 minute drive to shopping and food. 20 minutes to the space center. 40 minutes to the Galveston Cruise port. Breakfast was continental. Staff were attentive to the needs of the customers eating and were on top of cleaning messes and resupplying food/coffee. Nothing special but very adequate. Room was clean. Some humidity damage (rust on fixtures etc) in the pool area BUT its an indoor pool that holds in moisture in a humid part of Texas. Probably a logistical nightmare to begin with. I don't think this is a direct fault of the hotel. I didn't interact with the day shift staff but the evening shift staff were very on top of things. Even when she was very busy with in-takes one evening she remembered to get me more towels that I requested to give me the next time she saw me! Always said Hello to me when entering the entrance.

Construction on the interstate made getting to the property was difficult. Room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Hair in the tub on our arrival & noticeable dust. Not a reason to not recommend staying.

From the location of this hotel, you could not walk anywhere. There are no sidewalks. we had to use an Uber to go somewhere to eat. it was crazy because we were only a few blocks away from restaurants. You are taking your life in your hands if you try to walk anywhere. The shade was broken and would not go up. The room is very dark without any light from the window coming in.

The breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room was clean. I liked how you could come down and get coffee anytime. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. they let us store our luggage in a back room until it was time to check-in. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The first room that I was assigned had not been cleaned. There were no towels or water in the fitness center. The selection at the breakfast bar was limited. A hand out with local restaurants listed would have been helpful.

Everything I had besides the eggs was good (coffee, muffin, sausage, toast). I liked having the indoor pool. The fitness center was nice. The 3:00 pm checkin was perfect.

Didn't manage to shut off the AC even when the button was on the off position. For late check-out they requested $40 extra.

We had a nice 1 night stay in general. The hotel looks nice and feels pleasant and safe. Rooms are spacious with a good mattress and had a sofa too. Nice gym, nice indoor pool. Breakfast was included with our stay.
