“Location was a 5 minute drive to shopping and food. 20 minutes to the space center. 40 minutes to the Galveston Cruise port. Breakfast was continental. Staff were attentive to the needs of the customers eating and were on top of cleaning messes and resupplying food/coffee. Nothing special but very adequate. Room was clean. Some humidity damage (rust on fixtures etc) in the pool area BUT its an indoor pool that holds in moisture in a humid part of Texas. Probably a logistical nightmare to begin with. I don't think this is a direct fault of the hotel. I didn't interact with the day shift staff but the evening shift staff were very on top of things. Even when she was very busy with in-takes one evening she remembered to get me more towels that I requested to give me the next time she saw me! Always said Hello to me when entering the entrance.”
