The hot tub was out of commission, and our patio door didn't lock. We were on the 15th floor with little kids, so we were concerned about the balcony without a door lock.

I liked the updated look of the rooms. Clean, decent breakfast area.

The breakfast - they ran out of coffee cups and didn't try to accommodate in any way, they ran out of food, the breakfast staff was rude. The hot tub - was out of service

Their appeared to be non-guests loitering in the lobby area. Going out to eat required a vehicle.

It was a good motel to stay for one night before flying out. No deposit. Close to the airport. Room was clean and spacious. Pet Friendly.

Room was falsely advertised as a two king bed suite, but there was only a king bed and a queen pull out. Hot tub was out of order, towels were not restocked in pool area, and there were no extra blankets when we didn’t have enough to make the pull out.

Very little to dislike, the juices at breakfast were A. apple juice was empty B. orange juice was warm BUT everything else was good! They did a great job at keeping it stocked as people emptied trays. Their bread was delicious! Hot tub was down, but not a big deal as the pool was a very comfortable temperature.

Very nice and very clean. Staff were very kind and accommodating to our needs of checking in a little early, had our room with a crib ready to go! Breakfast was good and the pool was a nice warm temp. Pretty decent location, 15-25 minutes from nearby places of interest.

Lighting in the room wasn’t enough. Exhaust in toilet not working. A/C difficult to regulate. Shower lever was loose so as it went down due to gravity, the water got hotter.

It was close to the Mall of America. Front desk staff were okay. Kitchen staff named Chris was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was basic but good value for money.

We called ahead of time because the Sonesta said they would be w out power the next day from 9-3. We told the guy we had a late flight and would like and pay for 2 pm late check out. The guy that checked us in said he would give us 12:30 call in the am and you pay and they will extend. We did we had a rude front desk girl who transferred us w out telling us basically hung up then the general mgr came on and said they can’t do that. I said please we are traveling no one was waiting on a room or they would have said so it was a Monday. I explain to him what we were told they basically told me I was threatening him and he said if we did not get out by 12:30 we would be escorted out. Being in the hospitality industry and very successful we were appalled. That was 11 we were no where near ready but we were told the Loki r would come. so we were treated like criminals. This guy should not be in hospitality and should be fired along w the very rude front desk girl. Everyone we encountered in Minnesota was very rude. You should be really careful how you talk to people because you don’t really know who they are.

2 elevators works for an 18 story hotel… sometimes it took waiting 20 minutes for an elevator. the pool was freezing cold and the hot tub didn’t work. the first room we got looked like someone had a good fight in it and there was food all over the walls, ceiling, chair and floor.

Breakfast was bad. Very little breakfast food. Basically coffee, juices, toast and milk. No potatoes, bacon, sausage, muffins, rolls. waiting to go down the elevators in the morning is not good. Takes 15 minutes for elevator to arrive. This happened multiple times.

Room was very nice. Clean with no mold or mildew in bathroom and no bad smells.

Breakfast was busy and couldn’t even get in there. We had to go somewhere for breakfast and pay for it at a different location. The staff that checked us in didn’t seem to know where my reservation was right away. He was confusing me with another family member and I had to tell him 3 times it was the other persons. Finally did get my reservation. He was nice and got all of our rooms on the same floor. The hot tub had caution tape around it, so I didn’t want my kids down there and swimming in the pool because of the danger aspect. It was all around a little disappointing.

Loved the decor and color scheme. Made it look classy.

The hot tub was out of order, the breakfast was gross, & for guests that smoke cigarettes, their was absolutely no where to sit to smoke. I specifically requested a room on the 1st floor &/or nearest an elevator if we weren't on the 1st floor as I am disabled as is my step father. The breakfast: The eggs & sausage were disgusting & cold! The milk seemed very, very watered down, no flavored creamers we're offered alongside the coffee, as for juice being offered....only orange juice was an option, the waffles were great.

The staff was wonderful, the location was great, plenty handicap parking was available.

The facility was nice, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I would have given a higher rating but for the fact that I was awakened several times (both throughout the night and again in the early morning hours) on both nights of my stay by the loud barking of multiple dogs - INSIDE the hotel. I didn’t realize when I booked the room that dogs were welcome on the premises. If the loud barking of dogs doesn’t bother you, then by all means, book this place. If you prefer to sleep without canines serenading you, then look for a different place.

Besides the hot tub out of service, the entire pool area was a disgrace really. The pool ...cold. I've enjoyed other LA Quinta's and may have preferred the la Quinta that was closer to MOA as requested.

$50.00 fee to check in less than an hour early. People travel long distances and timing can be difficult. I wanted bananas for breakfast and their weren't any...also only Trix yogurt...would prefer more adult yogurt.
