Artist cottage was private, plus private outdoor tub! Comfortable bed, grounds pretty mellow.

I didn’t like my check in after Booking.com dropped the ball and didn’t follow through with my registration which left me without a room. thankful to the hotel manager for the last room and dealing with Booking.com to get my refund.

The coffee that comes with breakfast could be better. The restaurant at the hotel could have more vegan opptions.

The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Everything was very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pools are wonderful. The place is much better than the photographs that appear on the webpage.

Love Calistoga, a repeated favorite. Also, have positive past experiences with Mount View Hotel. Nice pool Good outdoor jacuzzi. Happy hour with free wine pours and DJ spinning vinyl with cushy sofas and gas fire rings by the pool very much appreciated. It helped that the fall weather on our visit was spectacular so we could go out at 8am, lie in the sun and soak in the jacuzzi and swim in the pool. No crowds yet plenty of activity for a weekday .

The pool was incredible! We enjoyed the hot spring hot tub, the poolside service, and the fire pits. Fresh water available at a hydration station conveniently located. Hotel is located right on the main downtown Calistoga strip, so you’re close to a grocery store to buy snacks and drinks, as well as many dining options! We rented a car and never used it, because everything was within walking distance. Our room (Artist Cottage) was adorable! The bed was super comfortable, the robes provided were warm and snuggly, the private patio with outdoor tub was super romantic, and the staff were friendly. We would stay at this hotel 100x again!

Rooms need to be remodeled

Great property in great location. Everyone was friendly and special shout out to the pool server, her music was great, her attitude was awesome, and service spectacular. The rooms could use a make over, but they were comfortable and served their purpose sleep and shower. But for the monetizes charged I think a makeover is due and would be a nice investment and convince me to return.

The bathroom toiletries (lotion, soap, etc) we’re minimal & not replaced when used. Not really a big deal but the only thing I could think of that wasn’t on point.

It was so relaxing and secluded. We asked for last minute requests and they made it happen. The staff were very welcoming and everything was so nice. Will definitely come back. If you want spa services make sure you book in advance since they are very busy but I give this place a 10! We stayed in the Artists cottage! So sexy and relaxing! Love it here!

Parking is extremely difficult especially on weekends. Property Restaurant (johnny Bs) closed very early in my opinion especially for a Friday/Saturday night Dont call coffee and 3 pieces of pound cake “breakfast” Bathroom toilet window in the event of trying to air out opens to an unobstructed view from the outside in

spa Jacuzzi and pool could have been couple of degrees warmer. issue with other guests behavior with their "service dog

breakfast was good. spa jacuzzi could have been warmer. problematic with other guests and their "service dog" who was running around barking. parking lot worked if a little inconvenient. room and overall ambiance was very good. Discounted price was a good value.

Location was great. The room was small and dark. The room was right off the pool and so the one window in the room was frosted for privacy, so it made the already dark room even darker. Since I was in a bottom floor room, I could hear people walking above me from very early in the morning ( lots of creaking). The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and the staff was very friendly. I liked that they offered coffee and a complimentary scone (even had a gluten-free one for me), but unfortunately, the coffee was luke warm. Overall, there were a lot of positives, but the small, dark room made it so I didn’t want to be in it. I am sure if I had a room on the upper level ( with a real window) my experience would have been better.

We stayed in the cottages so our room had a couple of cobwebs in the corner. Having a microwave would make this hotel perfect but that’s okay it was manageable.

We enjoyed breakfast being delivered every morning to our room and the staff were absolutely amazing and so attentive.
