Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn’t like how one worker tried to patronize me, I also saw how he handled others complaints. The women works were more on top of their game. The man was just saying stuff to seem accurate. His voice was nice and calm, he had a smile on his face but again felt patronizing, I’ve worked at plenty of hotels under many systems, he told me to come back at 4:00 because none of the rooms were done, but someone was checking in already it was 3:00 p.m, first off that’s now how you talk to a guest, he should’ve said something like “let me look up your name and check on your room, usually check in is at 4:00 I know most hotels have it at 3:00” instead of basically saying his housekeeping is slow, not cool housekeeping is a hard job! He had the same weird attitude with other guests, like something might been wrong their room specifically 430 and all he said is “☺️ I’ll make a note of that” how is note going to help if they check out tomorrow, he could’ve comped a soda or atleast acted like he cared, he could’ve said “I’m sorry we have no maintenance on the property but I can switch you rooms, offer a discount,” something helpful instead of basically saying “oh well 🤷🏻♂️☺️” Also there seems to be a terrible form of communication between front desk and house keeping, for example when rooms are done and need to be flipped from dirty to clean on the computer system. Or when guests check out. House keeping shouldn’t have to play the guessing game when it comes to “did the room already check out”, for me my house Keepers would get their room lists of check outs and stay overs, when someone would check out I’d call the head house keeper to let her know the room is vacant. With check in being at 4:00 people are going to expect to stay until 11:00, I don’t mind house keeping but someone else might not be fond of house keeping thinking the room is vacant when it’s not.
I liked the women who checked me in and out of my room and the ones who worked the desk in the evening, one woman clocked out at 4 so I assume she was apart of A.M. front desk crew she was super nice. Another women gave my kiddos some coloring pages and crayons, they told us about our free drinks even for the kids. They explained the money authorization (which I know because it’s all hotels policy) they definitely were educated to the T! They had a texting system I was able to use to talk to front desk because the rooms don’t have phones ( because in this day it’s common for a 3 year old to have a cellphone(not in my family though)). I like how Starbucks is super close. I’ve only ever stayed in the artists rooms on the 4th floor which I love. They’re all so unique, I often stay here alone for concerts in abq but this time I brought my family. I love how all the rooms have balcony’s.

United States of AmericaThe liners on the tub that keep you from slipping need to be replaced. When I was trying to shower my kids, they kept slipping all over the place and I feel like that can be a possible safety hazard.
When we got there, we received a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, but the front desk clerk found us a new and cleaned room immediately. The staff is always nice every time we stay here. The pool is nice. Everything was comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe room was small. There are no drawers to store clothing. The television lighting was dim and could not be adjusted. There were no towels and hand soap when we arrived. They seemed to be short staff, so it took a while to talk to someone. The room seemed to be older than most hotels I've stayed at. The freeway was close by and the noise from it was loud. If you're a light sleeper I would not recommend. You could hear everything going on outside and in the hallways. The pool is small and cold. It connects to the outdoor pool. The photo on the page does not match what it looks like. The hot tub is warm, and the water shoots out up and splashes. You could not enjoy yourself and relax.
The bed was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant.

United States of AmericaI usually rent AirBnBs. I’m not sure why I got a hotel this time but it would probably be my last. When I first arrived, the customer before me seemed disturbed by the worker at the front desk. I check in, he requests my ID and card. I’m like cool he’s going to make sure everything checks out. He tells me, “do you have another card this one isn’t going through.” Im like what do you mean I payed for it online. In which he replies, “Oh no we charge a 50 dollar fee which you get back at the end of your stay, there’s a $20 fee included which you won’t get back.” Him and a worker, which I assume was the manager, attempted to explain how this transaction works but I wasn’t believing them. I didn’t see anywhere a $50 would be charged. Anyways he eventually gives my stuff back, has me sign a paper and I receive my room key. Not long after that i want to shower, and let me tell you about the shower. It was so overpowered it felt like being sprayed by and garden hose on the jet mode. The drain could not keep up with the water. I had to play with the knob, pause, in order to get comfortable water pressure. Towels in bathroom were clean, however the towels by the bathroom sink were stained with whatever. The room didn’t have much amenities, two small bottles of water and two Nutrigrain bars. The TV brightness was turned way down for whatever reason. My and the wifey were excited to visit the hot tub, when we got in we were so disappointed that it was a warm tub.
It was alright, nothing special. The bed was nice, along with my room size.

United States of AmericaWhile the room was clean, the common areas of the hotel (e.g., hallways, elevator, etc) were grungy -- there was dust and debris on the baseboards. The elevator was never cleaned the whole time we stayed (hand prints and even lip prints inside), and it made me not want to touch anything.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. It's an older hotel but you can tell management has worked to update it as they can. Staff seemed friendly. It is a good location and it was fairly quiet (unless other guests were in the pool).

United States of AmericaNo hair dryer or tissues Unexpected no. Refundable “anenities fee” which I didn’t use at all and which will likely keep me from staying there again. Loved the place but am a senior living on a low income and every $20 is precious. This needs to be specified upfront when the booking is made. To not divulge this upfront so that it is obvious is dishonest in my opinion. You think you are booking a room for $110 and by the time all the taxes and hidden fees are added it becomes $150. I don’t care if “all the big chains are doing it”. It is still dishonest
