Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThe hotel advertised bicycles. Only 1 was available because they did not have locks for the others. We stayed 6 nights and they did not manage to get new locks in 6 days , this is NYC , if they cared they would have sorted out the locks in a day. The staff were hit and miss. Some completely disinterested and couldn't even get us a glass of water on arrival. Others were really helpful. It would be great to have some water and a kettle in the room.
The Location was excellent. Room had a great view and was comfortable.

Superb location north of little Italy and china town, east of soho, near east village Way better than midtown for cool things to do and nice vibe places to eat and drink in. Balcony overlooking Kenmare. Clean room with great shower and comfy bed - what more do you need?

BelgiumThe mattress was not in optimal shape, but my travel companions did not experience the same problem. Wi-Fi did its job, but performance was inconsistent.
Great location at the heart of SoHo. Easy to reach any interesting NY neighbourhood from there, safe, and vibrant at night. No breakfast available at the hotel, but great coffee around the corner (Café Integral) and good breakfast at the opposite corner (Butcher's Daughter). Very nice rooms and practical shower. Qualitative soap and shampoo (Aveda).

GermanyPretty loud due to location at Kenmar street. I think that would be the case almost everywhere in NYC. But I was very surprised by the 24/7 honking of drivers and that many sirens.

United States of AmericaThe lighting was very dim in the rooms. We had to turn on every light to be able to see. The lock on our door was broken and when we came back to our room after it had been cleaned, the room was not locked. Since there is no security or card swipe to go up the stairs or elevator, it felt a little unsafe. They did come check the door, but it was not fixed while we were there. Nothing was stolen or taken and the staff were very nice about it.
You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Right in the heart of Nolita and close to so many fantastic neighborhoods. The rooms were clean and had plenty of storage. For New York, the rooms were large and we had a comfortable king size bed. There was also a desk and small chair. It was fun to have a floor to ceiling window to look out on the street - from the room you can see out fine, but from the street it is obscured so we never felt like we were in a fishbowl. Overall, this was a fantastic value for a stay in NYC.

IsraelUnfortunately, too many things were missing for me. If I'll return for a short stay, I might come back, but I won't choose it again for a long stay. 1. There's no breakfast. That's important for me. First time in years, I took a room with no breakfast. Not sure I'll be doing it again in the near future. 2. The gym wasn't in the hotel. It's not comfortable going out in the rain to a gym. When it's in the hotel, I always find time to work out. 3. There wasn't a lot of storage space. Definitely not for a couple who booked a week. 4. There weren't too many outlets, and none USB ports, outside of one in a retro looking clock. I expect better charging options in a modern hotel. 5. We took the corner room, where most of its walls are made of glass, which is beautiful. But there weren't any windows in the room. You can't air it out or just open for some fresh air. Furthermore, when it was raining, the glass got wet from the inside, too. 6. The soundproof wasn't the best, you can hear the cars on the street, and if you're a lite sleeper like me, the curtains don't block out the light everywhere.
The hotel was modern and stylish. The room was beautiful, and there's a big stand alone bath tub, my girlfriend really liked it. The service was superb, the staff always smiles at you, and go out of their way to help.

United States of AmericaWe were told there’d be coffee in the lobby but there never was—but that’s how we discovered Integral, the cafe nearby.
The location was perfect…so close to great restaurants and shops. Wonderful coffee shop just around the corner. Beautiful light in our room and very quiet considering it is on a busy street and our room was right next to the elevator. This was a very nice surprise.

United States of AmericaIt seems I always get the room closest to the elevators. Walking back to the hotel after a show was a little scary. There were zombie like homeless men wandering around the strwets.
The location was supreme. I could get to the places I needed to be on foot. The hotel is very quiet and extremely clean. The transparent shower in the middle of the room wasn't an issue for me because I was alone. I can imagine it could be a problem if I'd shared a room with anyone. The bed was comfortable and I loved having a ceiling fan

ItalyRooms are small and old. Furnitures a little ruined. No services at all: no bar, no restaurant, no breakfast, no laundry, nothing… Overall all a little dirty. Staff young and not so professional
The location is amazing for living or working in Soho. I had a room at 9th floor with terrace and the view was beautiful… Nothing else…

United States of AmericaNo microwave and everything they had in the room they charge you for and hide the notice under the dresser. If I wasn't being nosey and checking draws and cabinets and stuff for amenities I wouldn't never knew that stuff cost lol. But overall it was nice and I would stay again.
The see through shower the most was my favorite and the set up in the lobby and halls was dark and romantic looking . The balcony was fine as well just wish it was bigger.

United States of America1. Despite our room having a variety of individual lights, each light was rather dim, so overall the room was dark. 2. No USB charging ports anywhere 3. Rooms are rather stark and could use a facelift. 4. Bedding felt like a pillowtop over an extremely firm mattress.
Great Nolita location. Good value for NY (on Booking.com). Helpful, low-key staff. Corner room was more spacious than non-corner rooms, which are cramped. Decently sized shower and bathroom (only in corner rooms).
