Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was a bit dusty in places especially the skirting boards. Depended on who you are you may not feel the safest at night walking to the hostel as the area does seem a bit sketchy. That being said I (male) walked back by myself after having had a few drinks in a couple of the bars and felt fine.
In a great location being only about 12 minutes away from the furthest subway we needed but even closer to others. Also a great location for some good food and bar spots. Staff were super friendly.

PeruFirst night I couldn’t sleep because they have in front of the binding a trucks company that runs all night I believe. Their windows doesn’t protect outside nosy. However, next day I requested to change the room and they kindly make it happen. It was great!
They are located in a very central area.

Have stayed here dozens of times over the years. It's in a great location and the staff are very friendly. During this last stay I was lucky enough to be assigned one of the rooms that have some full sized beds, which are a huge plus for a 6 foot tall guy like myself.

BrazilThe neighborhood was very loud quite early in the morning, but this might have been due to a construction nearby.
I liked the location! It is pretty close to the subway station and a walk distance from restaurants.

South KoreaThe bathroom in my room (5 person male dorm - 111) REEKED of smoke. Smelled like someone that's been smoking a pack a day for the last 10+yrs, wearing the same jacket they never wash. I could smell it even while showering - especially while showering. Also, not really the fault of the accommodation, but there was a large soggy sad looking donut in plastic wrap just chilling on the bathroom sink. It was there from the time I checked in to the time I left. It was more funny than anything, but added to the dirty feeling that was the smell.
There's a Kitchen with refrigerators. Several half bathrooms throughout the building (in case the bathroom in your room is in use). Vending machines (one with toiletries also). Coffee and water station with dining area next door. Lots of common areas. Business center. Courtyard. You can purchase umbrellas at the front desk for rainy days.

CanadaThe shower in the private (3 bedroom) was fabulous! The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy and warm (March stay). I always bring a few extra pillows and was glad I did this time also. Neighbourhood is a good mix of Brooklyn urban and industrial. Parking on Moore St was ample and the hostel proprietors were good to explain the intricacies of where and when to park.

United States of AmericaThe place is well maintained by staff. However, on both of my stays some of the guest didn't clean up after themselves when cooking. Instead they moved about like they we at home cooking and leaving dishes and food piled in the sink.
Great location, great customer service throughout stay.

United States of AmericaWhen the L was being serviced, which I understand it does, being that far out makes traveling by public transit a little trickier.
This was my second stay at NY Moore so there were no surprises. And, that's what I appreciated. I knew the kind of service and experience to expect. When I flew in early for my interview the next day, I knew I could count on the great folks working at the desk to accommodate me - and they did. I was able to store my things when I arrived early and go get something to eat. By the time I got back, I was allowed to check-in a little earlier.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that we only had one pillow, other hostels give you two. Also, every towel I was given had stains/ hair on it. I asked for multiple towels throughout my stay and they were all the same. I also didn’t like that the front door was open 24/7. It meant literally anyone could come in and that didn’t sit well with me. There also weren’t any events, so it was a pretty quiet atmosphere and everyone did their own thing. Of course, if you prefer a quiet environment, then this shouldn’t be a problem.
I liked the location and the staff was pretty helpful!
