Not enough of those baggage carriers They have one for the whole property . Stated 3 nights and housekeeping never came around and o think they only have 1. I went and borrowed a vacuum and broom and grabbed my own towels but no worries I got it done .

Fiesta celebration fun for the whole family . Location and convenience on point especially fur Niosa and fiesta goers . Parking garage right next door . Balcony overlooks Niosa

The pictures are not a fair representation on the hotel ! The balaconies are not so green and actually overlook a massive car park!! The decor is very tired looking! Location made up for this for us.

WE did not have breakfast . The hotel decor was tired . The bed and linen were very clean and fresh. The location is absolutely fantastic as you can walk out the door and explore San Antonia on the river both north and south and easy access to the Plaza and the Alamo. This is its real benefit.

We had trouble with the TV, ceiling fan didn’t work.

The historic preservation and presentation was very nice. The proximity to the Riverwalk, restaurants, and attraction made for easy walking. There is a very nice commons area with tables and chairs on each floor.

Unfortunately no breakfast is served but Shilo’s cafe is near .

Great location very close to riverwalk and Alamo. Nice and charming old hotel, friendly service. Own little parking. Try to get a room with balcony, great to have a last glass in warm nights.

The TV situation is awful!! Impossible to get any channels to work. The coffee downstairs was a bit sad. Something was missing each morning, either the coffee, the cream or the paper cups! The lady at the reception was nice, the man, on the other hand, was a grouch, and it was close to impossible to get a full sentence out of him. Although we love the concept of historical hotels, versus new ones, we would not return to this place, as they cut too many corners!

    The location was good.

I kept trying to adjust the thermostat in the hotel room but to no avail. The room temperature was maybe 64°. I kept trying to get it up to 72. This is in the spring when it’s cold outside. I didn’t talk to the staff about it at the time because I unloaded my suitcases and left the room. I didn’t get back until about 10 PM at that time I went to sleep.

Unfortunately, they was road construction within a block of the hotel. I had to pay for parking, which was unexpected. The hotel room was ice cold. I couldn’t get the room temperature up to 70°.

Perhaps a curtain over door leading to balcony. Although a blind the room still a little bright at night.

Location excellent for Alamo and River walk. Easy to find after a long journey and has plenty of parking. Quirky little hotel after a hiccup with hot water was very comfortable. Nice place for breakfast around the corner.

Parking and jet tub: no handle bar to get In, so even to take a shower had a risk of slipping. Tub sits high.

The floor of the room was dirty when I arrived, they did not really clean on the first day as they promised. But the second day they spent an hour cleaning the carped. So finally the last day I could enjoy a clean room

They had updated their system and not trained the front desk. We didn’t have keys to our room then entire first day. When checking out, the parking pass box is out of the car, on the passenger side. This was super inconvenient as a solo driver with no desire to leave my car running in a busy lane and across the lane and sidewalk to return it. There were no windows in the room so it was very dark, but there was a balcony looking over the back parking lot.

The location and price were fair. The decor was nice.

There is not much not to like, but there is no breakfast and it is historic (scruffy on the edges).

Very close to La Villita and a block off Riverwalk. Quaint and quirky lobby. Smart TVs. Good Thai next door open late and a nice little Mexican restaurant (La Castilla) for breakfast or lunch across the parking lot.

The private parking was tight. If you don't arrive early you will have to park in public lot.

The hotel was quaint and cute. It was older but updated. The lobby was small but nicely decorated. Check in was quick. The location was great, just a block from the SA Riverwalk!! Will definitely be going back!!
