Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the internet speed was good but for some reason it stopped working if I’m connected to Zoom for more than 10 minutes. my one hour zoom presentation was interrupted four times. if you need a stable internet environment for a remote meeting you may need to stay elsewhere.
I had to work remotely during my trip and the hotel had a small table with a chair making it easy to work for extended time.

Clean, very good location, nice room. Very close to nice restaurants and shops. Parking was a problem in the same building, but they offered me to park nearby and was very convenient. In general was a very good experience.

Pool was shaded by building and very small as was spa. I expected a small kitchen in room but that was not so. We did ask and get a kettle to make tea. I had booked 5 n then had an extra night due to this I had to pay $200 twice up front even thou we stayed in same room. We wanted a late check out but we would have had to pay for a couple of hours so didn’t do. Coffee was a help yourself downstairs in foyer. It was warm not hot.

Not much ventilation in the bathroom and no fan Water pressure wasn’t very good and took a long time to get the temperature right to shower. Toilets very low
This was our first time staying at the property.. staff friendly and helpful.. the room was lovely.

I think the staff were okay. Not helpful when you needed help. The phone just kept ringing. If you need a lot of help this isn’t the best hotel. Luckily it was just a day trip so I did my best to avoid the front desk.
The room are nice, the bed was hard to sleep.

My room wasnt quite clean as id liked it to be. There were a few stains on the walls that were unpleasant but came off with using clorox wipes.
Its walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. I liked that there was access to towels we were able to grab ourselves from outside our room. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

I had it 2days and they mentioned that for 2days they cant provide room service this is ridiculous i have paid right and i am not staying free. No oven in the room and charging for parking, and parking was very horrible to take it to garage very narrow soace to take the car and they are still charging more.

No on-site restaurant.
Excellent location, walking distance to Waikiki beach and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Renovated rooms are very nice.

We had a room right off the elevator and it was loud when people got off the elevator talking. Our room had a small issue with cleanliness- I did not bring it to the front desk attention, just cleaned it up myself

The water temperature in the bathroom shower was either scalding or freezing. There was no in between. Never reached a proper temperature in 7 days.

I have stayed in 2 Malias in Italy and they both had breakfast (at a price). I liked having that. Also no pool or hot tub was a bummer.

The only issue is with location. It's very convenient to be able to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. However, the building doesn't block any sound and it's very loud all night. I couldn't get one good night of sleep. Every night I would wake up to loud music and yelling at least a couple times and usually very late (2am-4am).
Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed. The entire experience was really great with absolutely no complaints. They even have beach towels available to go to the beach.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, but many good restaurants are within walking distance.
The renovated adjoining rooms were excellent. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent--very near the Waikiki beach, shopping and restaurants. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels.
