The bathroom floor wasn't overly clean (had pet hair), and the rooms don't come with bottled water. Everything else was great!

You did have to get a 20 min metro to Mid Town but that was fine by me.

Location was great - right next to WTC so great for Metro links, could walk in 10 mins to boat to Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. A few places to eat at night around about.

Did not like ice located only in the bar. no hair conditioner or lotion. Refrigerator was bad, who only uses 2 hours of refrigeration at a time. We would have to wake up in the middle of the night to keep things cold.

The location was great, just the construction was a little inconvenient. (not because to any noise). I enjoyed my stay there and would return.

Reconstruction arround the main hotel entrance resuting in very narrow sidewalks. Overheating hairdryer in the bathroom, a bit older furniture in the room.

Very good location in Manhattan Downtown, few steps from 9/11 Memorial. Nice and cosy bar located on 6th floor with experienced staff. Big and comfortable bed in the room.

The air condition in the room was very noisy. Fortunately, I did not need it during my stay.

I particularly enjoyed the very friendly and helpful staff, especially Marcos and his colleagues from the breakfast team. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and of a very high quality. The location directly at the important subway stations as well as at Ground Zero is ideal.

The view from my room was unpleasant, I could see the wall of the opposite building only and the trash nearby.

There was some slight noise from the corridor as other guests passed by and doors of rooms slamming shut, however this didn’t bother us too much. Smoke alarm in the room flashed every so often, maybe this could have been placed in a better location.

Location, was nice to be away from the chaos of times sq. was easy to get around on the subway. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean.

Room is very European...in other words, tiny...not good for long stays unless you are going to be out and about all day. Desk is small but workable. No gym is a deal killer for me.

Staff is fabulous...from reception to elevator guide to bar...very warm and welcoming. Excellent drinks, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet given location and construction outside...did not hear a peep!

Room decor extremely flat and functional, I don't need anything more on a business trip but a little light input from whoever did the restaurant wouldn't go amiss. Restaurant doesn't have any proper lunchtime offering, which is a shame as it's a good space and would be an attractive daytime working option for business travellers like me.

Great location, and a very spacious room for the price and NYC standards - and a truly remarkable view (see below) from my 20th-ish floor room over WTC plaza. The restaurant had a pleasant vibe in wine bar mode in the evenings (and an interesting wine list of US producers about which staff seemed informed and opinionated) and offered a good breakfast selection in the mornings.

No fan in the bathroom, the windows shook with the storm (weather isn’t controllable I know but it scared my son) and the elevators were out but no one communicated anything until the announcement came that they were back online.

On the second night the hotel room next door had a couple that was incredibly loud at 2 AM, drunk and doing noise in hall and then in the room. I guest people don’t respect others rest anymore, also couldn’t find a phone to call the reception, so earplugs might save your night
