Outdated, no elevators, not able to access lobby without driving/ walking outdoors. Room was tight and layout was difficult for 3 people to utilize. Poor lighting and no ceiling lights other than the old light/fan in bathroom. Sink/counter space was tight.

Place needed a major update !

Location is nice , we have stayed there several times over the years because of the large pool for swimming and location is great , but it’s in a major need of an upgrade things are starting to get very old looking . We may start looking for a new location for our winter swimming trips . But I will say the staff is always super friendly !

The setup of the room over looking the pool, and banquet tables was off putting. Also the exercise room was small and dismal. Hallway and staircase leading up to the room was narrow and had a funny smell.

The rate was nice and the convenience of location.

You get what you pay for here. The carpets are stained and the hotel often smells musty. The hot tub also had several broken filters, the pool towels had stains on them and there were chunks of hair on the pool deck. Again, you get what you pay for here. This location is convenient and for a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in the State College Ramada is a decent bargan. But, do not try to stay here if there is a Penn State football game, they charge upwards of $600 a night. Not worth it!

I have stayed here several times without any major issues. Conveinent location if you're looking to visit downtown State College. The atatched resteraunt is a bonus. I have not had a bad meal there yet.

The temperature was in the high 80s and we could not adjust it, no matter how low we changed it to. When we let them know, they said, "yeah, some of the rooms can get hot." Otherwise it was a good property.

Breakfast provided … wasn’t well done.. when we came in for breakfast there was no hash browns … no coffee… no juice had to wait a time for it to be refilled and the eggs were horribly watered down refused to eat them.. then grabbed a chocolate milk that was filled with ice cream… very disappointed.

    Convenience to Penn St.

Outside very much in need of repair and room was very difficult to locate. Our room was newly renovated but it was not quite satisfactory. Stains on a lamp shade, poor water pressure and hard to flush toilet.

Room was newly remodeled but here were some mystery stains in a lampshade.
