The pillows were very tiny and the lighting in the room was dark.

I was told to check in remotely, had to submit my credit card information.....again, and that was fine. But, when I went in to procure my keys, they confirmed that they received my check in and told me to go sit down and wait. Then, 5 minutes later I was called again. Not sure what the back and forth was about. I can honestly say it really annoyed me.

The place is nice, the room appeared clean, the air was great. No issues honestly. I didn't know breakfast was included, I doubt it was and I didn't stay for breakfast. I didn't have an amazing view either.

There’s not much in the area until you walk 15 minutes to where all the food spots are. Also the price of the hotel was expensive considering it didn’t match the advertising on the site. The design and look is outdated. The gym is located in a basement which I didn’t bother to use which is a rarity for a gym enthusiast like myself.

I like the extra space, the balcony (nice view of NYC) and the bath tub. There is a Keurig machine with pods in the room and free hot/cold water with a decent coffee /latte machine in the nice lobby. The location is in an industrial area but within a 15 minute walk, you have access to a lot of good local restaurants and bars.

The first night i stayed in a noisy room. The hotel is very close to the bridge so if you are in the outside building it gets very noisy. I asked to change the room and the staff apologized for lack of availability then called back to tell me i can change the next day and they moved my things to a much quieter room which was very nice of them.

The bed was a little lopsided. The mattress was slightly sunken in on the right side in the room that I stayed in .The room was beautiful it was clean I had a balcony, which was a great addition to my stay.

Could do with a little TLC , electric fittings in bathroom hanging out,doors not closing properly,lose fitting in shower. A little maintenance and it would be great. Shame the bar doesn't open until end of May,

I am not a fan of advance check in or digital check in and sending my credit card and ID information before arriving at the hotel. I refuse to check in for a hotel before my plane has landed in that city! It took me a while to do the advance part of my check in but everything was simple once I arrived at the hotel.

I went to NYC for work in Manhattan and chose to stay at this hotel to be near the city but pay a more reasonable price for a hotel. I had a great stay - the hotel is clean, comfortable, safe, and just under a 15 minute walk to the Subway that goes over to Manhattan (and also easily accessible for rideshares). There is no breakfast but the in-room mini fridge and Keurig were great to have.

On this last stay some amenities were missing. There was no shower gel soap in the dispenser. Needed the television to get hooked up properly. Staff was very quick to take care of the issues.

1) cleanliness - dark interior did not show, but the room required more attention (dust, hair), 2) tv - the spectrum interactive tv was not working, bad reception, slow response, 3) pillows - 4 pillows were given, but uncomfortable, need to be improved immediately, 4) meal service - not much is offered in the facility, require to look outside for food, 5) noise - LIC is going through a major development phase, therefore construction is happening everywhere, very noisy from early in the morning, 6) email response - because we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor right next to a traffic light, car noise was unbearable, requested to move, but no reply received from the property customer service, or from the front desk, 7) inflexible front staff service - parking fee between sedan and suv differed, not determined by the size of the car, but category. So, if you are driving a compact SUV, you are charged with SUV fee, although it is a much smaller car than mercedes E series or BMW 5 series sedan. Strange rule to follow, and the staffs simply said it is the rule set by the owner so there is nothing they can do. Very unprofessional.

The interior of the room very contemporary, simple like the ones in Europe. Lean and designed to meet the minimal needs.

They are some minor fixes that can be made. Found little scratches and breaks. Pillows could be bigger.

The staff is always amazing and courteous. The rooms are beautiful.
