I think all hotels should have a grab bar in the shower, especially when it is in a tub. I am in my 80s and was nervous getting in and out. Also, the lighting was rather poor in the bedroom. The hotel was a longer walk from the Metro than the hotel had indicated. (I walked it 7 times altogether, twice with suitcase.)

Room was comfortable, easy to get to, Bed was fine. I was surprised by fridge and microwave. Liked the clock, easier to read than my clock at home.

There was an alarm at 10 am. Fire brigade arrived. However, the event was an interesting experience, fire brigade had very nice US car.

I liked the location, nice walk to Lincoln memorial. Good private car parking. Also not far from public transport.

Location was excellent....however, our ROOM was #357...and, unfortunately, hallway ceiling---6+ rooms closer to front elevator than our room---suffered "basketball-sized" water leak collapse....apparently night before our Arrival. Staff put up 16 inch plastic triangle floor sign over water soaked carpet & approx 50 pieces of ceiling plaster....pathetically NO Red Lion Housekeeping...or Mgr....came to CLEAN up & removed plaster pieces on hallway leading to OUR room...the 3 FULL DAYS of our stay....it looked disgusting....appeared NO ONE CARED to sweep up this MESS!! I'd like a courtesy credit....of ANY $$ Amt R Lion thinks FAIR...just for having to AVOID the hallway "plastic water can" catching drips...and broken ceiling plaster hallway mess every day of my wife(74 yrs old & just had HIP replacement operation!) & my THREE DAY stay ! Do want to RETURN...& do want to reco to friends visiting Georgetown Univ & DC overall!!

I would like to have the possibility to have free tea or coffee in the room.

The room is clean, big and the bed is so comfortable! The position of this hotel is perfect, 5 minutes from the Rosslyn metro station, 30 minutes by walk to reach Georgetown and 15 minutes to reach Arlington cemetery. You can stay here to explore Washington DC without spend so much money as in the city...

We found a cockroach in one of the bedside table, it was a big turn off.

The location was good, there was plenty of parking and the bathroom was well equipped.

Coffee in the room would have been better and maybe breakfast in the hotel.

The coffee they served in the morning was good. The location was was great as it was a five to ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. Then a 15 minute ride to downtown Washington. The hotel was clean and the staff were great.

The bed mattress was old and tired and wasnt made up well. The bed looked like they had just refurbed from the previous stay and not freshly made.

The facility is reasonably well maintained, but definitely shows its age in public areas. A number of things were out of order including the fire alarms.
