A light breakfast to start the day and save time would have been great.

Access to the metro rail and cost were the main reasons the hotel was selected. Since no food was available at the hotel, a list of nearby restaurants that was provided was helpful.

Had to unplug a lamp to have outlet to power my mobile phone. Drapes had a hole that needed repair or replacement. Had to request that three cracked and unsightly lampshades be replaced. No lobby or space to sit and read or day dream.

Close to Metro. Walking distance to some restaurants. Clean room.

Tatty, dated decor that needs a thorough clean. Bathroom not very clean, especially shower curtain. Room not cleaned once during entire stay, and bins not emptied (even when placed outside the room for two nights in a row). Some staff much more hospitable than others.

Spacious room, ice and water available at reception (vending machine), microwave in room.

Room was dirty trash on floor behind curtains. Tub wouldn't drain while showering I wouldn't stay there again. Smelt musky as soon as you hit the second floor.

Some people smoked in their rooms or hallway and occasionally the smell of tobacco/weed would come under the door. We stuffed some towels along the floor and that helped, but it was annoying.

Clean and so, so quiet. Easy to get into the museum sector with a quick train ride. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows were lovely. Slept so well!

I think all hotels should have a grab bar in the shower, especially when it is in a tub. I am in my 80s and was nervous getting in and out. Also, the lighting was rather poor in the bedroom. The hotel was a longer walk from the Metro than the hotel had indicated. (I walked it 7 times altogether, twice with suitcase.)

Room was comfortable, easy to get to, Bed was fine. I was surprised by fridge and microwave. Liked the clock, easier to read than my clock at home.

There was an alarm at 10 am. Fire brigade arrived. However, the event was an interesting experience, fire brigade had very nice US car.

I liked the location, nice walk to Lincoln memorial. Good private car parking. Also not far from public transport.

Location was excellent....however, our ROOM was #357...and, unfortunately, hallway ceiling---6+ rooms closer to front elevator than our room---suffered "basketball-sized" water leak collapse....apparently night before our Arrival. Staff put up 16 inch plastic triangle floor sign over water soaked carpet & approx 50 pieces of ceiling plaster....pathetically NO Red Lion Housekeeping...or Mgr....came to CLEAN up & removed plaster pieces on hallway leading to OUR room...the 3 FULL DAYS of our stay....it looked disgusting....appeared NO ONE CARED to sweep up this MESS!! I'd like a courtesy credit....of ANY $$ Amt R Lion thinks FAIR...just for having to AVOID the hallway "plastic water can" catching drips...and broken ceiling plaster hallway mess every day of my wife(74 yrs old & just had HIP replacement operation!) & my THREE DAY stay ! Do want to RETURN...& do want to reco to friends visiting Georgetown Univ & DC overall!!

I would like to have the possibility to have free tea or coffee in the room.

The room is clean, big and the bed is so comfortable! The position of this hotel is perfect, 5 minutes from the Rosslyn metro station, 30 minutes by walk to reach Georgetown and 15 minutes to reach Arlington cemetery. You can stay here to explore Washington DC without spend so much money as in the city...

We found a cockroach in one of the bedside table, it was a big turn off.

The location was good, there was plenty of parking and the bathroom was well equipped.

Room smelt a bit of cigarette smoke. Opened the window helped a bit but it still lingered.

Big comfy room. Large bathroom with bath. Good location for the Metro into downtown DC and restaurants/bars locally. Car parking easy and plenty.

Coffee in the room would have been better and maybe breakfast in the hotel.

The coffee they served in the morning was good. The location was was great as it was a five to ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. Then a 15 minute ride to downtown Washington. The hotel was clean and the staff were great.
