    Nice hotel centrally located
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds
    • Stayed 5 nights

The first night was awful as the sound kept us awake all night in the room above walking to the bathroom sounded very loud, far louder than it should do as I think the insulation between the 3rd floor and 4th or top floor isn't adequate.

The location of the hotel is great and the staff are very good. Breakfast was good also.

Lobby was small for the amount of people using it. Always crowded and difficult to pass by especially in the mornings.

Breakfast was good. The staff were exceptional. They were always cleaning and restocking the buffet. Quality of the food was good and abundant. Bar in the lobby area was small but a nice meeting area as were the outside firepits.

The rooms weren't the most soundproof - you could hear some talking and outside noise...but it wasn't bad. Also, we left our key card in the room, not realizing we needed the key card to get out of the parking garage. The parking garage is expensive - 60 a night!

Second stay - so much bang for your buck. Beautiful, modern, comfortable rooms. The location is right near Fisherman's Wharf but also a quick walk to North Beach. The breakfast is really good and big! Even a heated outdoor pool!

No tea bags / milk in the rooms a must for English tea drinkers. Ice cream (Hagen Das tubs) both chocolate and vanilla was crunchy with ice. Not consumed as a result and forgot to mention in the morning. Neither had expired but clearly been allowed to melt and re freeze.

Great to have the offer of breakfast and grab and go bar.

Room was very small. Parking was not included in the price. We weren't told about the parking price until after the booking was made. The price for parking was $60 a day. There was parking across the street for $15/day.

    Location and cleanliness.

It would have been great to have a microwave in the room. It would have been nice if we didn't have to all go down for breakfast at the same time.

Breakfast was great. Really liked the location (Close to trader Joe's and a CVS and a nice cafe) . The pool was a very nice bonus.

Breakfast shambles, overpriced hotel not the usual Riu standard.

The pool was heated but only small, should be bigger for the size of the hotel. Breakfast although good standard was not enjoyable because there wasn’t enough room and you had to wait for a table and then when one became available you were herded literally to the table, which were small and very close together so you felt uncomfortable close to the people next to you.the dinning area was disorganised and ciotic ,the staff tried to move your stuff if you only got up to get something else. Needs a rethink.as always pricing in the hotel were very expensive.

Good service at reception, rooms cleaned to a good standard. These are things we didn’t like as needed extra space.Parking was extremely expensive at 61 dollars a night for guests. The location was handy for the tourists area. The rooms were adequate but the air conditioning throughout the hotel was very noisy if when you didn’t have it on in the room ,you could hear a constant low droning noise and even vibration in some rooms, we refused one room on the second floor due to this, the 4th floor was better but still noisy air conditioning in corridors.

There was a lot of vacant properties in the area, many homeless addicts and, surprisingly, everything closes at 9pm!!

The buffet breakfast range of choice was excellent. The bar area was souless. Like an airport lounge. The room was large and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Breakfast is good, but depending were you get seated it can be a bit noisy and people next to your table.

The two bed room was spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults with luggage. We loved the location as you are literally in 3 minutes walking at the fisherman's wharf.

Even though the breakfast was included it was very chaotic - we had breakfast at different times between 7am and 9.30 and always busy. Suggest a pillow menu - so visitors can select a hard medium or soft pillow.

I wish the comforters on the beds were thicker. The thin ones don't feel like much of a cover. Two waste bins for the room instead of just the one in the bathroom would have been nice. I guess the price wasn't bad for the area.

Location, breakfast, lobby was great for hanging out and visiting, staff was very friendly.

They used to have a nice supermarket near by but that's closed so there is another which is not as nice. It's close to Pier 39 and you can use to market street trolly to get to the downtown and Castro. Breakfast is great
