Could not find an ice machine and not a lot of outlets for charging but not a big deal.

Cute little plain cabin was the same price as rooms. We had a really comfy bed and kitchenette with the basics. There is a porch with chairs to have your coffee on and a seating area with benches outside.

Nothing, it was great!

The staff was super friendly and helpful ensuring that we had everything that we needed for our stay! It was cold the night we stayed, so they made sure there was an extra heater in the cabin so we definitely didn't get cold!! The cabin we stayed in was super cute and cozy with very comfortable beds. If we had stayed for longer than one night, there was a full kitchen with all the amenities so we could have cooked for ourselves whilst staying and enjoying the local thermal bath/hotsprings.

The coffee maker didn’t work, and there is not really space on the property to walk our dog - but we survived both of those issues and I liked the room 🙂

Easy check in, key was waiting for us, friendly staff, the room was large, clean and warm, bed was comfortable and had what we needed for the night.

The price went and less amenities

I stayed here last year and it was super nice, variety of coffees and water in the room. This year there were not as many amenities, but it was comfy and clean.

Everything is EXTREMELY dated. Shelves were sagging. The coffee maker had moldy water in it. The TV didn't fit on the shelf it was on so it sits completely crooked and constantly resets itself. Parking is tight and our neighbor apparently thought that the lines were just suggestions.

The location was good and the bed was comfortable. The texted info from staff was good.

It’s literally right on the highway so it’s very loud. The owners did leave a sound machine in the cabins so it helped. There was also some disrepair: the towel rack was ripped out of the wall and holes were left. There wasn’t any place to hang bath towels or hand towels. The hot water handle in the bathroom was also broken off so we couldn’t wash our hands with hot water unless we went to the kitchen. Some of the plugs didn’t work either.

The beds were very cozy and the cabin was very clean. We liked that we could walk to get pizza or to downtown to shop. The hot plate, pots, pans and toaster was helpful!

This is a no frills motel. Nothing fancy or anything like that. However, we knew that going in so we weren't disappointed. There isn't a lot to choose from in that area and we were only there to visit the Dinosaur Center. It served it's purpose.

There were only two things that were annoyances. One they can attempt to rectify, the other they can't. #1. The room had a heavy chemical smell from the cleaning agents they used. It would be nice if they could try and address the smell (the room was very clean, but the cleaning smell was strong). #2. Also, the road noise is pretty loud throughout the night, but due to the motel's location, there is nothing they can do about this. We just ran the AC fan all night.

We had a couple of emergencies on our trip to the area. I had a non-cancellable reservation and could not make it to the motel as planned. I called, and they were very flexible. They were able to release our room and allow us to reschedule our reservation when we knew what our new travel dates were. Exceptional customer service!!

- Be careful with check-in hours!! On my confirmation (and also on the booking.com website) it states check-in possible between 15:00 - 23:00, however when we arrived (21:15) there was a paper on the door saying that check-in is only until 9pm! And indeed already 15 minutes thereafter nobody was at reception anymore (btw both rooms were already paid (for two nights)..); no such information on the motel website and no communcation sent upfront (via booking) or on that day - might be off-season check-in hours, however would expect an according information (and not just a paper on the door once you arrive). Nobody picked up the phone upon calling their number either; after continuously ringing the door bell someone finally opened. - Noisy, since it's close to the main street and there is a lot of traffic going through (also at night)

Reserved online - easy. Called to inform of late check-in: they provided late check in instructions - easy. Arrived: warm room, comfortable bed, quiet sleeping, good location. Checked out by dropping keys in box - all done. Easy!
