Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI’d like blackout curtains over the window. The noise from the road was loud.
The room was clean. The staff was great. I was mildly surprised to find the property so nice.

United States of AmericaNothing to say.....all was GOOD. The wife and I have stayed in places like this before, but this was by far the nicest...and for the money. For a place to stay overnight...."Do It!"
Staff greeted us with a smile. Once paperwork was done, staff member "took/showed" us our room. She made sure ALL was ready and stated..."If we NEED anything, she was available. Location was great, within 5-10 minutes (depending on incoming traffic) from downtown. The wife and I would recommend this location...even if more than the one night we stayed.

United States of AmericaI guess a breakfast would have been welcome. But we didnt miss it too much.
Dimitry and his wife were warm, friendly and perfect hosts. Always asked if we need anything. Nothing was too much for them. Clearly, they care about their guests. Rooms super clean and beds were comfortable. We would stay there again.

United States of AmericaThere was nothing that we didn't like about the property, location, cleanliness, or staff. If there was anything at all to complain about (and I am reaching here) it is that there isn't an elevator and there aren't any restaurants nearby that serve breakfast, at least not that we found. Those things did not take anyway anything in our view of this property as we still give it a 10!
Location was excellent, right across Lion's Bridge with a very easy walk into the main part of the historical district. The property, while older, was clean and well maintained, with modern updates to many areas done in a very cool reproduction 50s/60s style. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Leah and Daniel. They had great FREE parking, and even allowed us to check out late the next morning so we could enjoy checking out a few things we didn't get time to see the day before. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this little gem of a property, and we highly recommend giving it a chance!

United States of AmericaSlide lock on the door was cracked and broken. Door to a/c control panel on unit was broken. Noise from traffic in the AM was noticable.
There isn't any breakfast but the location was convenient to those who like to walk. It is an easy walk over the bridge into town and it's attractions for those okay with walking a bit. The room was clean. The desk clerk was friendly. There are restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner.

United States of AmericaNot much I can say except maybe the only thing would be need blackout curtains for windows the hall light was kinda bright, I closed the curtain it was ok but maybe if they were a little thicker to block the light more would be good, but not a deal breaker.
The property was super cute, very affordable it looked very kept up with outside maintenance very clean. Super cute little pool not very big, but still clean and nice, I used it. The rooms were clean the beds were good, pillows were good sheets were soft. My room had a super cute little vanity in it I was able to sit and while getting ready for the night out. Also in a great location across the bridge is downtown St. Augustine it’s a 6 min drive across or a 25 min walk. Also walking distance to local bars & restaurants. So across the street to the right of the hotel there was a nice place I can’t remember the name of it, it’s was Bird something, but it has the white lights outside all lit up you can’t miss it. Anyway we just went for drinks and the bartenders were super cool Austin and Garrett made us a couple stiff one which made walking back to the room a lot of fun lol 🥴🤣

United States of AmericaNo elevator. That’s fine for us to walk up stairs but some people may not be able to or if you were trying to bring heavy luggage it might be difficult. Minor flaw imho
Comfortable. Clean. Fridge-freezer. Desk. Nice furniture. Coffee maker. Roku tv is my favorite feature. Everything we could ask for in room. Several eateries and shops to walk to.
