Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsLocation will not be for everyone.
Easy stay, perfect value for the money. Location is an industrial area but just a 5 minute walk from the old town which is kind of a historic slash tourist thing. The actual city is a 15 min drive, all good. Good breakfast. Massive huge rooms with a kitchenette. Very clean and vert friendly staff. Recommended.

JapanPersonally, I would have appreciated a bit more of variety with the breakfast, like including some meat or other variations of eggs besides hard-boiled eggs. That's just something personal. My parents loved it just with what they offered and were more than satisfied with the selection.
Excellent hotel for my 5 nights in San Diego. There's a shuttle bus very close to the hotel that can take you to and from the airport. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was quite good as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The city center is accessible using by either tram and bus. We rented a car, so didn't have to use either, but it's good to have the option. Plenty of parking space. Overall, would highly recommend the hotel.

United States of AmericaI was hoping my room would a microwave. It did not.
I was there for work so I really appreciate that my room was in a quiet location. It was quite a bit aways from the main building so, I also appreciated how easy it was to get what I needed from the ladies with the carts without having to call or go to the front lobby first.

United States of AmericaMinor - the key card easily lost its charge if it was near a phone. Didn't affect my experiences much since the issue was fixed at the front desk.
Great location, 10 minutes walk from the Old Town part of San Diego, 15-20 minutes drive to La Jolla. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was standard continental (not a lot of variety) but enough to start the day and free, which is important given the restaurant prices in the area. Also, the pool looked lovely, but I didn't have a chance to try it out because of the weather and lots of sightseeing plans. I would return!

United States of AmericaThe parking spaces were very small. But the lot was never full so it didn’t effect us :) There is a homeless camp behind the hotel although I didn’t see any homeless directly in front of the hotel or in the parking lot. The coffee was very weak. The man on staff that I saw the most was very UNinterested in helping with anything. He had to look up from his phone videos to answer questions or get me new keys and that seemed like a problem.
It was close to Old town shopping and to the wedding venue for our trip. The pool opened at 7 am so that was nice to sit and drink coffee in the morning. The woman at check in was very nice!

United States of AmericaThe card readers often took several tries to open the door--some worked on the first try, others took up to three tries. Not convenient when my hands were full. Still, they always worked eventually. Breakfast wasn't thrilling.

United States of AmericaAlthough I felt comfortable driving in the area, or walking during the day, I didn’t walk around at night as a solo woman. The hotel felt very safe though. Occasionally you can hear the train whistle.
Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. I liked having the refrigerator and microwave! Appreciated the included breakfast. Staff was helpful for advice on catching the wonderful trolley to the convention center. Very close to Old Town, the Zo, Balboa Park.
