You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThat our fridge had so much ice in it the door wouldn't stay shut, however they replaced it but this one was totally understand level you couldn't open the door so we found flyers in the entry area & propped it up. Then the TV didn't work & we had to call someone. A nice gentleman came & fixed it.

United KingdomI guess it's how they keep costs down, but there were no staff at the hotel at any stage of our Sunday/Monday stay - we had to call hotel number and gentleman told us the key was in mailbox - they could easily have sent us a message through booking.com so that we didn't have the worry. No coffee/tea in room. Cleaning fee should be included in price.
Great value for money in an expensive region. Beds comfortable, though noisy. Convenient parking.. 10 minutes drive from Kennebunkport.

The location was convenient to restaurants and shops nearby. It was quiet.

Extended and paid for our stay using this app, changing the reservation from a queen bed to 2 double beds, but we were told it wasn't convenient for them to change our room We wanted 2 double beds for sleeping comfort purposes. The bed was a small queen.
