To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

ThailandThe bath room is too small and house maid did not clean well, not fill up complete hotel amenities daily. Plug of refrigerator was not in good condition, we thought it was plug in already , but it was not ready in the morning. Free cocktail hour is too short , it was not in time for us to take the service. we missed it all days.
we had early check in since noon time, it was very happy from travel since early morning , and like the hotel location where is close to many good restaurants , whole food , groceries store and walk distance to attractive places. Staffs are very nice service from reception to entrance.

New ZealandThe shower was strange and had a stale water smell. The room was not cleaned regularly and the carpets looked really old and dirty :( Dark hallways from the elevator to the rooms, giving an eerie feel.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. The young woman attending the bar/lounge on the 10th of January was very lovely.

The location is great for getting to the main museums and sights. It is also walkable to a couple of great streets for restaurants. The downstairs restaurant has very good food if you are too tired to go out one night and their breakfast is great. There is also a huge WholeFoods right nearby as well. Hanks Oyster House is great and easy to walk to. Super helpful staff. Very comfortable bed!

IrelandCustomer service. We traveled with a small group that were all on one booking, when checking in we initially met a very nice and polite young lady. However her colleague Dave may have been of the opinion that it was taking her too long to check us in and intervened. He messed everything up. He swiped my Revolute card twice and said that the payment had failed. I then had to use another card to get checked in. When I showed him my phone confirming that the payment went trough he didn't accept that and said that if it did go through "that's good at least we know you have the money to pay for your room!! The following morning after checking with my bank who confirmed that a reserve had been put on my card twice I approached him again he was adamant that no payment was reserved against the card or taken by the hotel. This was not correct. When asked to reverse the payment he said that could not be done and it would take up to 30 days (which it did) before the monies would be returned. I actually paid for the room for our entire stay three times and had to wait the full 30 days before the two payments that he said he did not take were returned. I do allot of traveling , mainly for work and thankfully not in US, in all my travels I have never met anyone as anoxic as Dave or been treated by any receptionist the way he did!!
