Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ITS NOT UPDATED IN BOOKING, they charge 40$ for SAFE PRIVATE PARKING, suggesting to used it by the valet if we dont want something to happen to our cars.

United States of AmericaWe had to pay $40 for one night just to have a valet take our car to a secure location. A parking lot for our cars with security would be nice for the hotel to offer and would be a huge savings for their customers!
No breakfast was provided. We ordered a pizza at the bar for dinner and it was good. Everything was clean, staff was good, location was perfect at just blocks from the arch, and price of the hotel was good. There is a rooftop area with pool which was very cool!

United States of AmericaThe exterior windows did not provide much of a sound barrier. Our room was on the 7th floor and we could hear traffic and people's voices down on the street pretty clearly.
All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room, accommodations, and services were all great.

United States of AmericaWhen we arrived the room, coffee machine and water is not ready. Wi-hi is work, but weak and slow. The bathrobe is useless..
The receptionist and breakfast staffs are friendly. Breakfast room are relaxing atmosphere. The room is quite near elevator, but our room is quiet. The hotel is in pre-war building it was shoe factory. The rooms are modern art-deco inspired design. I recommend staying this hotel if you like privacy and quiet atmosphere.

United States of AmericaIt could be cleaner. There was no bar soap in our bathroom. It looked like no one washed the robe and it was just tied back up and put on the bed again after the previous tenant. Coffee was too watery and no taste.
The location was excellent. It's a couple of blocks from the Enterprise Center, a few blocks from Busch Stadium and down by town. Near restaurants.

United States of AmericaIt's not a great area at night. Parking is $30/day with no in & out privileges with very few other options besides the street, which is metered parking during the day Mon-Sat.
The rooms are beautifully restored & decorated. It has a very industrial, chic look with bare concrete ceilings & metal furnishings. The staff is very friendly. Lots of places to eat nearby.

United States of Americapaid $40 to park across street in a parking lot. only complaint. someone had their window broken on their vehicle during the night as well in the same parking lot, so i am just thankful my car was not damaged. down town st louis area is not very safe late at night.
the room had a big king bed, big shower, tv, mini fridge, and was overall very nice. there’s a pool on the rooftop, has a great view of the city, and there’s a bar up there as well but was not open at this time of year (march). restaurant and bar downstairs was fantastic. biggest compliment would be that all of the staff was extremely kind and nice.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was pretty bare-bones - we ended up going a few blocks away for a fuller menu. Friday and Saturday nights were quite loud in the neighborhood (not the hotel's fault!), so bring earplugs or white noise apparatus.
Wonderfully clean and stylish interior; located right next door to the City Museum (HIGHLY recommended). It also had the only restaurant open on a Sunday night for many blocks around. Nice lobby bar and restaurant - not a huge menu but the food was excellent and the drinks well mixed. Grateful for the valet parking.

United States of AmericaThe ceilings in the bedrooms were terrible. See the picture below. We understand that this is probably the look the hotel is going for but they are just completely out of place with the rest of the hotel lobby and rooms. I would highly recommend changing the ceilings asap and getting them to match the downstairs lobbying ceilings as soon as possible or I do think you will lose customers. I talked to 5 different people, not exaggerating, and that is the first thing everyone noticed and commented on. I think you really missed the mark with this one and it is not appealing at all to look up and see that first thing in the morning.
The staff was fantastic. The on site manager that checked out bags and checked us out in the morning was very friendly. The gentlemen running valet was fantastic and he literally ran back and forth to get vehicles as fast as he could. I was extremely impressed by this. The worker at the little snack area counter really struggled at finding items to ring us out and that took much longer than it should so perhaps some more training is needed there as she ended up ringing us up for wrong items and we had to correct her. She was very friendly though and corrected the situation for us. The young lady that ran the bar at night could use some more training as far as customer service skills but the drinks she made were very good. However, we had a tab open and when I told her the name she said she didn’t take a tab for anyone by that name. I assured her she did and she still argued the fact. She then opened the cash register drawer and saw our card in there, not sure how she forgot that quickly and the fact that she was mildly arguing we did kind of left my wife and I dumbfounded a little bit. However, I just think some more training is in order and otherwise staff was very friendly. The lobby was very spacious and inviting as well.

United States of AmericaThey seem to be plagued with supply shortages. Cleaning staff told me they were out of hand soap, and there were no coffee creamer or sugar in the room, only lots of decaf coffee. The restaurant was also short staffed, but food was excellent. I needed a valet after 11 pm, but I guess a staff issues caused them to limit valet hours. I used an adjacent open lot to park overnight; they had video security cameras and my car was fine.
Loved the building remodel and the story behind the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable. Quiet. Friendly staff.
