Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Having to walk through a smokey casino, but I was in Vegas, so it's to be expected I suppose.
I was impressed with the low noise level considering how large the property is. No one woke me up in the middle of the night!

The style of the rooms is „Venetian“. Not that modern as other hotels. But we knew that before.

No free water in room (except tap water) and was $11 per bottle
Great position on the strip huge property, literally don’t need to leave (I challenge you not to get lost inside)! right next to a Walgreens Stunning interiors Free Upgrade to Palazzo Tower - yes!

Not having a fridge of some kind was kind of a nuisance and the very expensive snacks and beverages that were in the room was also a turnoff.
The place was fantastic. I really wish we had started exploring the first day instead of waiting until pretty much the last two days to really get out and about. We will be back.

Genuinely, no notes. The stay was exactly what we needed it to be. Both myself and my colleague were happy and comfortable. I was at 3 other hotels before The Venetian that trip, and the Venetian was the most memorable
We really enjoyed both the room and overall location of the property. We both had enough space to ourselves. The location was right at the heart of our travel itinerary and we were able to get to many of our locations by walking alone. The food and bars inside this property were also the best that we visited! Room service was also very responsive and attentive!

The hotel check-in process requires quite a long wait in line. It seems that it can be shortened by pre-registration. All the complex is highly crowded.
I liked the Venetian-style of the hotel. It is a part of a huge complex that includes a casino and restaurants. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. The hotel location is on the Las Vegas Strip.

Can get quite pricy
Spacious, clean rooms, many pools, restaurants etc. as expected for his hotel category. Highlight are the grand canal shops, a must-see in LV.

The only thing that we did not like and we believe that is not for this hotel is the Prestige update. During our check in, the receptionist told us if we want to upgrade our room to prestige which offers a room with view, breakfast plus a few more thigs. The room had a view of the Spere that was nice, but the breakfast was so bad and only a few things to choose from. Also the snacks at afteroon was nothing. We don't really recommend this upgrade as we believe it does not respond in the quality of this hotel.
The hotel is just amazing. Decoration and vibe is fantastic. Loved every single corner of the hotel. The room was very big and much comfortable. Location so good as you can move easily to many places from there.

Fast food places were of questionable quality and expensive. Aggressive clerks at shops that almost harassed people walking by. Expected in Bagdad, not in Vegas.
Fantastic resort, probably the best in Las Vegas. We had a small suite, clean and well equipped. Some really nice restaurants (we visited two at St Mark’s square, very nice!).
