The property was poorly renovated. Smelled bad and even worse in the room. The breakfast was below par for even an average hotel.

The location was close to hospital. Bed was fairly comfortable.

The hotel is a little older and could use some updating. Still a very good deal and had a great stay!

The staff was friendly. It was clean and spacious. The amenities were excellent! Kids had a blast at the pool. Very good accommodations for the price. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Almost every time I left my room, I had to go allll the way to the front desk to have my keys remade. The receptionist kept telling me it was something I was doing… I can’t see how that would be even remotely possible since the other people around me didn’t have that problem. The tv was limited to just a few channels. The water pressure wasn’t even enough to really wash the soap off your body. The absolute worst thing was the beds and the pillows. The beds were rivaled in softness by concrete, and the pillows were (I’m sure) made from wood chips and river rocks. Overall, not impressed by this hotel.

The breakfast was ok. A bit cold but it was edible. The reception desk was nice and the “pantry” had lists of snacks. I’m not sure that there is anything else nice to say.

Ac is not adjustable, hallway smells bad, no usb ports for electronics, tv has only 1980 channels, room very out dated, breakfast is not the best

Staff was extremely rude and disorganized.breakfast was suppose to be 6am-9am great cause we had somewhere to be at 745! No there was no breakfast until after we had to leave at 745 but when asked about the mishap it was like a tornado and no one understood anything the guy working front desk could not communicate with breakfast attendant due to language barrier she only spoke Spanish so therefore everyone just had to get to there day and get going.i told front desk how frustrated I along with all the others were and would like to speak to a manager was told he was leaving note for her to contact me when she came in at 10am!! Never got a call we got back really late Saturday night so Sunday I went back to front desk and asked again for a manager to discuss issue was told she would be in at 10am again this morning and she would be calling me NEVER HAPPENED! needless to say I'm home now and Wyndham has never contacted us about the issue,so at this point. I will never book at this Hotel again!a dedicated customer lost for good when one simple kind gesture or contact could have been made! BAD WAY TO HAMDLE BUSINESS!!

We stay at this place multiple times a year around 10-15 times a year and have always enjoyed it.

First off when we arrived the room was just to small and it was a double, the restroom was way to small also taking a shower it didn't have any pressure. Breakfast was horrible, first morning it didn't get put out til about 730, no syrup, no cereal nothing. This morning for breakfast they served raw bacon (RAW) ON TOP OF SAUSAGE. NASTY eggs was disgusting very watery. Never staying here again.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life!!!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE or you'll regret it. Trust me - once you read the entire reason why NOT to book here, you'll thank me. I couldn't wait to check in and enjoy the pool the next day after a job opportunity only to find out that the Wyndham Garden Midland's pool would be OUT OF ORDER. I've never heard of a pool being out of order so whatever. After checking in, I had a long day of driving from Austin to Midland, I couldn't wait to take a long hot shower only to find out that the shower head/shower in general didn't work. When turning on the water, first of all, it never got warm or hot, but the shower head was literally spitting out water; I couldn't believe it as I had just unpacked EVERYTHING from my luggage so what a hassle it was to have to get back into my travel gear, had to walk to the front desk to ask for another room. The 'sucky' part is the room that I was transferred to a SMOKING ROOM; major ugh. Now all of my stuff stinks like smoke. It was hard to breathe during the night - when I left for my job opportunity, I smelled horribly terrible! The new room didn't have any lamps i.e. it was pitch dark so thankfully I had the old room key as I went back to grab the lamps for my new smoky room. Now here's the crappy part - I was starving but didn't feel like driving so I went downstairs to eat at the bar/restaurant and that was a nightmare. It was CRAZY LOUD - the music was so loud; I couldn't hear the young/child waitress. I asked for horseradish, and it was like I was asking for something foreign. She never returned, by the way. I had ordered a steak and shrimp plate with double veggies and as much as I love all of that, the flavor for all three was absolutely gross. What a waste of money. OH and in the second room, there was literally only ONE towel for my three day/two night stay. Really?

the carpet had mud or something stuck to it and only part of the lights in the room worked. I asked for them to be replaced but they never were. the pool was down and smell like something died in it. the breakfast was very limited. Bathroom was very small and you had to step beside the Toilet to open or close the door. The curtains were coming down and were very dusty.

bad neighborhood, hot water didn’t reach the room until water had ran 20 minutes, uncomfortable beds, air conditioner didn’t cool at first and we had to mess with it.

Front desk workers polite other staff rude, especially the pool guy and could accommodate pool hours for youth softball players who play morning games and evening games at the end of day atleast and hour or two of swimming time would be nice for them
