The room and shared spaces smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. It was quite a long walk into the historical centre.

The hostess was so very obliging. She is by nature a relaxed person and nothing was too hard for her. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh - really appreciated the variety of fresh fruit on offer.

There is nothing to dislike.

Everything one requires to spend few nights and have a good rest. Bed was great, breakfast - just what you need - tea, coffee, sandwich, cereals, some fruits -all served by lovely lady right when you take a seat at the table.

Excellent stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend also. Nazareth was an amazing host and very sweet. She definitely caters to everything you would need or ask for. Breakfast whilst simple was excellent and filling. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and well looked after. Nazareth makes an effort to make sure everything is to your liking. The TV in the room was a bonus. Great place. Its about 15mins via bus into the old town and the bus stop is right outside of the room. 8min walk to the metro. You can walk from the property to the old town and thats around 25mins.

There is a lot steps, about 40 if you have a room on the second floor. However, the host was very helpful giving me hand with luggage.

House has this quiant feeling, it’s perfect choice if you like the old houses with impressive staircase and squeaky floors. Nice service, host very friendly and welcoming, almost in motherly manner

I was missing vegetables and lemon at the breakfast. It is a bit far from city center but with bzs it is ok.

The room was quiet and fully dark, great for relaxing by night. The houselady was sweet and helpfull. We had a great 7 nights there.

Some parts of the room were a bit old, like the bathrrom door, which could not be closed fully.

The lady was extremely nice, she provided lots of things for the breakfast and made tea for us when we got back in the evenings. The house is in a walkable distance from the center but there is also a bus stop in front of the house. The room was nice and clean.

Room was a bit noisy as it faced the road, and turned quite chilly at night (Feb 2023) as there's no heating.

Lovely kind lady, made sure that I had coffee and some breakfast available for me as I was leaving early (5.30 am) on my my last day. Breakfast was good with a choice of cereal, bread, ham, cheese and spreads, tea and coffee and orange juice.

- service is really great - room is clean - owner is kind and helpful. 1) Owner heated the room for us in advance ☺️ 2) We asked if possible to get breakfast earlier, and owner agreed to this. When we got on the kitchen everything was prepared, coffee was ready and there was a bonus of tasty panettone. It was a really great surprise

The breakfast could have had some vagetables also. Some parts of the room could be a little bit more cleaner. The hot water temperature can be sometimes too hot and a bit unpredictable

The staff was very nice, comunicative and joyfull. The stay is a 30 minute pleasant walk from the main attraction. Easy to get there with the bus also. It's quite easy to arrive at the airport also. They let us keep our luggage after the check out also

All the staff were really delightful, always sweet and helpful. I speak Portuguese, but my partner doesn't, and even so they made the effort to communicate with him. We had to do a really early checkout, and after talking with them, they still managed a way so we could have our breakfast early before leaving, and stayed waiting for our arriving for longer, after our flight got three hours delayed.

A simple guest house managed by family. Dona Nazaré is a lovely person and prepared our breakfast in a nice way, she had recomended great restaurants and places to visit. The location is convenient, you can get a bus just in front of the guest house or park your car nearby if you need to.
