Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaA little bit pricey
The location is great. It’s just 10 minutes drive from the Grand Canyon national park. The room was pretty roomy and it was easy to park.

United States of AmericaFor their price level & being a "resort", I wish there was some simple breakfast included, such as pastries, fruits, juices. We had to go to MacDonald in the early morning before heading to the Grand Canyon.
Cozy nice lobby; clean & well appointed room, fresh Starbucks coffee in lobby although the machine didn't work the morning we checked out.

United KingdomBreakfast not worth the price. Meal voucher system a bit confusing. Weak water pressure in the shower. Room smelled a bit musty. Staff were alright, but some seemed a bit disinterested and confused.
Perfect location for access to the Grand Canyon. Plenty of amenities available. Room was spacious and comfortable. Quiet. Refillable water bottles were a nice touch.

A really great setup with bespoke accommodation away from the main hotel, but with excellent parking and very comfortable accommodation.

United States of AmericaWe ate at the property for breakfast and dinner each night and the food could be better. I would rate the food a 6.5 - it's fine but not great. Plus, the room with 4 people in it was tight - not much room to move around.
The amenities at this property are amazing! Hitting the outdoor hot tub during a light snow fall was one of the highlights of our trip. Plus having a bowling alley right there was fun after a busy day. Highly recommend for families with kids!

United States of America20.00 buffet breakfast was not worth the money. Went to the smoking area where there was an ashtray and we were chastised by a female millennial front desk clerk who walked by. She sternly told us that we could not smoke there. When we explained that the ashtray was located there and it was half full, she said we had to be at least 25 feet from the buildings to smoke and the only reason there was an ashtray there was “Because thats the way they make the trash bins.” Then we figured out that the 25 foot distance would put us right in the middle of the parking lot in the rain. When you can charge over 250.00 for a room, there should be accommodation for smokers. We are not villain’s or lower class citizens!
Comfortable bed and good shower.

United States of AmericaHousekeeping missed taking care of room for 2 days in a row. Had to address with night manager. TV remote was clunky to use meaning Guide would show but was not functional. Restaurants on site are not open during lunch. At check-in you are told you will receive 2 bottles of water per day as part of your resort fee. For our total 4 night stay, we only got those first 2 bottles of water. Ended up buying a 24 pack at General Store to have for trip.
Location (to GCNP) was my only Plus. Breakfast included was a good breakfast. Nice buffet, but only scrambled eggs offered as style choice, along with bacon, sausage, fruit and pancakes. Some breads / toast and cereals were available too.

United KingdomVery expensive for what is, its really only a $90 a night motel style accomodation at best. Very noisy early morning with people banging doors. Breakfast organisation needs work, we were turned away for a 30 minute wait as there were no tables? We saw plenty of empty tables they just hadn't been bussed yet probably down to lack of staff
Enjoyed breakfast, good food and selection, not a bad location for the NP either only 20 mins away

SwitzerlandOur room was a bit far away from the main areas of the hotel, you need to walk outside to move between the areas, and it was cold. When we arrived at the room we did not have enough towels, just shower towels. We called to ask for more towels and they just bring more bath towels, to face towels or a bath mat, which is something we found very strange, as it is a common thing to offer in any hotel. The restaurants in the facility were very expensive and the service was quite poor, so we had to drive to eat out.
The rooms were very comfortable. The reception was very lavish, it smelled nice and the property offered all facilities. Probably the more modern hotel we had during out 1-week road trip.

United States of AmericaMaybe another option for breakfast other than a buffet? Just continental?
The room was simple and basic but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you cannot stay in Grand Canyon Village, this is a good option location. It worked well for us but we mostly only slept there and spent most of our time in GCNP.

LuxembourgOur room was on the ground floor, overlooking the pool, but there were no net curtains or Venetian blinds, anyone could see into our room! I checked the rooms next to ours from the outside, there were some with this, but many not .... a big minus. It could have been mentioned that the road leading to the National Park entrance gets very busy, there was a very long line of cars, even in April, 20+ mins wait if you don't go early enough?
The staff were helpful and the lobby and restaurant nicely decorated. It was also great to have laundry facilities, as we were on a 2.5 week road trip! The coffee/tea facilities and water bottle refill facilities in the lobby were useful too. The staff had a car snow-clearing tool ready for use on request, which was necessary the morning of our departure!

United States of AmericaI can't think of a thing I didn't like!
The room was very spacious and clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We had a newly renovated room at the back of the property that was very quiet. I loved the decor of the resort, and the stone walls and water features. There were two restaurants on site, which was handy, as there are not many other choice for food in the area. I especially loved the s'mores that were offered by the fire in the evening!
