Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe price for breakfast was not shown anywhere and the cost was outrageous for the kind of food provided for the buffet. For the type of food provided it should be complementary.
Great location for visiting the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Pool and hot tub were a great way to relax and keep the kid occupied in the evening.

United States of AmericaOur room was a bit dated and it was impossible to make it a warmer during the day. We also did not go for a swim or exercise 'cause we had to cross over outside to a separate building. The breakfast is basic American breakfast. Skip it if you have to pay for it.
This is a fine Hotel: spacious, well run, and fantastic free coffee in the lobby. It is the perfect gateway to the Canyon when on the South Rim. I would say it's probably the best Hotel in Tusayan. The staff is lovely and the guests are from all over the World.

CanadaNothing. Everything was fantastic.
Everything about this hotel was awesome. We had bad weather during our stay. Our visit to the Grand Canyon was a bit disappointing but staying at the Squire made up for it. Clean facilities and they offer fun activities for the children. Highly recommend!

United States of AmericaThe shower has a half glass door which enabled water to leak all over the bathroom floor. I had to be careful to dry it so no one fell. Also the sink counter was too high to wash my face. Luckily there was another sink in the main area. I am 5-7 so I can't image a shorter person trying to do this.
Beautiful hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

United States of AmericaThe outdoor jacuzzi wasn’t hot.. When in the room we could hear other guests talk and open water faucets in the rooms next to ours.
Me and my husband really liked the big rooms with both a refrigerator and microwave oven. The pool and jacuzzi were also nice. The best thing was the Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby! A very nice touch! I also really liked the beautiful framed photographs hanging in the hallways. The most important thing for us was the proximity to the Grand Canyon. Only a few minutes drive away from the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe hotel was being remodeled and many of the advertised amenities, such as the bowling alley, arcade, and pub were not available. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this when the hotel rooms were being booked. However, the active construction was quiet and discreet and did not detract from the overall experience (and you are going to this area for the Grand Canyon not a hotel bowling alley)
The room was clean and comfortable. The main lobby was recently re-finished and looked beautiful. The pool and restaurant were nice. Rooms for the group were placed next to each other. The location to the Grand Canyon was excellent. We were able to drive back and forth to the park with ease.

United States of AmericaWe booked because of the pub and bowling alley, only to find out they were under renovation and not available until it was too late to change our reservation without a penalty. The restaurant was nice, but understaffed and overpriced.
What a great spot! Loved the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. Loved the awesome Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. The gym was better than most hotel gyms I've experienced, and free laundry and water bottle filling stations are a really nice touch. The kids really enjoyed s'mores and dive in movie. Rooms were very large and comfortable.
