The property is clean and beautiful, and the location is perfect! My husband loved that it was right by the lake. He spent a lot of time enjoying the view.

The $150.00 pet fee. I have a chihuahua mix who is house trained and doesn't shed. REALLY? Due to this I won't stay at this chain again. I had to book in an emergency situation. My bad for not verifying the absurd pet fee. Perhaps change the fee by animal size and breed.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a very kind, warming,caring gentleman. He was kind enough to ask us if we'd like a cookie, and I mentioned to him that I have celiac disease and provided us with 2 delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies.

Booking.com didn’t send our reservation to the hotel.

Manager was very helpful on correcting Booking.coms mistake with our reservation.

The restaurant had limited choices which is fine but the food should be well prepared for the price you have to pay. The chicken was dry and inedible. Also, we wanted to eat in the dining area but they packed our food in to-go containers and gave us no silverware.

Clean and those at the front desk were extremely friendly. The fire pit outside looking over the water was also neat and relaxing.

Some of the staff members including the manager were very standoffish and a tad bit rude. When you ask a question they cut you off and say what they have to say. I had a question about an over charge that was on my account and she cut me off and said I’m printing your receipt and you will only be charged what is on here. I work in an industry where customer service is a huge ordeal and regardless of how you feel and what you have going on being rude is not ok. You have a really nice establishment don’t let your attitude reflect on the company. There were two gentlemen there at check in who were very friendly to the people on the phone but when it came to corresponding with us we did not get the same friendly interaction. Even questioned if we were smokers which we are not then he became friendly upon us answering no to his question.

The property itself was amazing! The location was right near everything.

The staff explained to me that our booking did not include a balcony even though the Booking.com website printout showed that we did have a balcony reserved. They claim that they have explained that several times to you, but it has not been changed.

I did reserve a room with a balcony but didn't get one Also you couldn't take alcohol drinks out of your room signs posted everywhere No alcohol even by the fire pit and outside area

The rooms were modern. The hotel was overall very clean. It was equipped with all my needs; ice, water, 24 hour snacks, coffee, etc. The staff was exceptionally friendly, patient and knowledgable about the city.

A light fell from the place it was installed and hit the bed in the middle of the night.

Nothing. It was perfect especially for the time of the year & weather.

I loved the whole location. The room was absolutely beautiful along with the whole establishment. We didnt eat or drink in the restaurant/bar but plan to on our next stay.

When we arrived, the desk attendant asked "are you aware the room you reserved was an exercise room?" We answered... no, what do you mean? He continued to describe the room has exercise equipment in it, but he would not be able to change room types since we made the reservation online... We got to the room, realized what he was talking about. Nice equipment, but hardly what two people celebrating their 48th anniversary would utilize. Moreover, it was frustrating to realize we had one chair in the room.. no relaxing room conversations to consider this trip. So, the bottom line is, we used the room for a shower and bed. The bed covering was as light as two sheets, hardly enough to stay warm.

Most of the adventures we enjoyed were on the other side of town, requiring a drive, but we booked Doubletree anyway because we are familiar with and enjoy the facilities and service associated with the Doubletree name.

The staff were cheerful and helpful. I also used the fitness center which was very clean.
