A microwave in room would have been helpful. It wasn't clear the parking was not included, was told at the desk would have to pay . . .fine. But then the machine at the entrance seemed broke and I proceeded to park. Wasn't clear if i was charged extra, but that was a bit confusing. (though thanks for the free parking if i wasn't charged.)

The bathtub was tiny and water pressure quite low, so showering was not as pleasant as it could be. The quality of the toiletries provided by the hotel could also be improved. Apart from the Keurig, a kettler in the rooms would be nice.

Great option if you are around the D.C. area! The hotel is conveniently located a couple blocks from Friendship Heights metro station and is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Our room was nice and clean thhroughout our whole stay. Extra points for the free coffee and cookies at the lobby!

I reported when I checked out to clerk & hotel manager, who was @ the desk: — Room’s Blackout Curtin was broken or “off track” — Bed sagged VERY badly on right side; I had to sleep in the middle (manager said he would replace the mattress before another guest was in the room). — Bottom sheet didn’t fit - it couldn’t be tucked under the mattress & flapped around when I pulled down the duvet /top sheet to get into bed. Manager thanked me for my feedback, said it was thanks to guests that he could stay on top of issues in the hotel. No discount or financial compensation offered.

Parking shouldn’t be charged to guess but I understand it’s in a busy area.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Marriot and wouldn’t expect it to be less than a good experience. I would stay there again if I was to travel back to D. C.

The food and the restaurant was great! The staff was exceptional. My only issue was when we booked the room we were not told there was a $30 a day parking fee. That was a surprise when we got there. After paying almost $300 for a room we also ended up having to pay $60 for two nights for a parking fee.

Confusion over cost for breakfast. We were told it was $10, then that would be a $10 credit for each person on a $20 plus breakfast. Then that there was no credit if we were not Bonvoy members. On our return from dinner, we could not get into the garage. The message said we had used it too many times but we had paid for in and out. The help button worked and a person on the screen let us in.

I'm disappointed that there is, as far as I could make out, no laundry facilities (The Hilton Garden Inn down the road from the hotel has an excellent laundry, perfect for visitors staying for more than a few nights). Also their rooms have microwaves as well as refrigerators,

The breakfast menu had a very good range of offerings, from hearty omelettes and bacon-and-eggs to fruit bowls. The breakfast was always served by cheerful staff, especially Domingo (Hope I spelled it right, he's from Senegal). The location is perfect, right in Friendship Heights, with the Metro a few minutes' walk away. The rooms are very large, comfortable and welcoming, and clearly provide for business travellers to work in the room, if that is required.

Easy access from the street. Beautiful interior. Excellent breakfast with a fantastic waiter. Easy in and out parking garage. Elevators go from every floor to the parking garage.

Probably should've got the bkft if we could have had it for $10/each. Came out to more like $15/each a la carte. Decent food, but pricey, as expected in a hotel. At least they served dinner as well as bkft. Wish we'd had a microwave in room.

Location was good for us, near friends in Chevy Chase, and 30 min metro ride from the Mall. Staff was nice and they offered free coffee and cookies.

The tea was lukewarm. And the coffee in the lobby was cold. It would help to change the coffee urn every few hours to keep it fresh.

At check- in I was told breakfast by a young lady who was being trained that there was complementary breakfast but to my surprise I discovered that it was not so. The breakfast was good.

Too many sources of light streaming into the room; the main door had rays of light both from the gap between the floor and the end of the door, as well as from the sides. Smoke detector light was also very bright. Coffee cap did not fit.

Very convenient and clean; and the price did not break the bank.
