Room showed wear in corners, dark room, poor tv quality and outside metal stairs for 2nd floor. Elevator not working. Full dumpster by stairs.

Good breakfast for self serve hot tea or coffee with toast and fruit cup. Room was clean and staff helpful when tv was confusing to turn on- the remote didn’t turn on tv- needed side button on tv. Cost was just $89.00 so for area was great! Close to Event at Arlington National Cemetery.

The draperies look raggedy. The stairs and hallways were not always clean.. There's a gap between the door and the floor. The exterior of the building needs to be upgraded. The airconditioning cover should be cleaned. I did not take pictures unlike what I do when I stayed in better hotels.

There were a few (3 or 4) small bugs in the bathroom area. I think they were roaches.

The a/c did not get cold enough. The included breakfast was toast and oatmeal, and that's it. There were a couple of dead rats near the stairs. The elevator was broken. The fridge smelled like moldy food.

One of our cards demagnetized. The continental breakfast left very much to be desired, it was just coffee, juice, cereal, and toast. But oh well it was free.

Room was clean as could be expected. The shower pressure/temperature was good. The fridge, coffeepot, air conditioner and microwave worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the service up front was good. The parking lot was spacious and bus service in and out of the area to the main dc area was plentiful.

We were given an ADA “accessible” room, which had we needed access with a wheelchair or other ambulatory support, we would not have been able to access the room due to a 2.5”-3.0” threshold into the room.

Location was good. Quick and easy access to bus line which connected to subway. Lots of local restaurants available.

Minor things but I wish the bathroom had the exhaust fan with a sound when you turn it on, to help block out the noises whenever you use the toilet/shower. I wish there were brighter lights, we only had lamps. During the day yes we can open the curtains for natural light but for privacy reasons, we like to keep those closed as much as possible. Some of the outlets were not working for chargers. The TV remote wasn’t working, and the TV screen had glitch lines the whole time; but the control buttons and HDMI on the TV worked just fine — I connected my ipad without issues, and we had fun watching movies. Oh, and the elevator wasn’t working; this was not really an issue for us because the staff even asked for a room preference and obviously we said first floor if the elevator wasn’t working, and the room we got was good.

Location is really nice, close to gas station, fast food chains, and restaurants. Room 110 was actually decent for the price. I read a lot of negative reviews about cleanliness, but I did not encounter problems. We only stayed for a night but I’ll certainly consider booking this place again in the future.
