This was our first time staying here due to the rates being affordable for Memorial Day weekend. Elevators are a huge concern here. When we arrived in the parking garage the elevators were not working and we had to take the stairs with our luggage. Mind you I’m pregnant so my husband did all the work from the 3rd floor. The elevators in the hotel need some TLC as well. The morning of our checkout we got stuck in one of them. There are long lines during evening and morning hours of people trying to use the elevators because they’re a bit slow. Many people used the stairs for that. I’m sure due to the crowd for the holiday weekend caused this but regardless elevators need some major updates. Although we enjoyed our time at the pool, the property shouldn’t allow toys in the pool. I got hit with a football on the head and a kid threw a metal car in the pool that hit me on the shoulder. Many kids had water guns that I constantly kept getting squirted in my face which did not allow me to enjoy my time in the pool. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and we had a single chair that was clearly never cleaned and ripped.

We come to Tropicana when we are in Laughlin due to the restaurants, the arcade and the are always hosting craft and fun shows.

The first thing I DID NOT LIKE-when we booked this reservation-I asked for a(3) night stay from Wednesday night, Thursday night (our wedding anniversary) and Friday night. Somehow the paperwork got twisted around and when we got to Laughlin Wednesday morning to checkin after going around and around with various Tropicana front desk staff-the most helpful being Desiree & another Tropicana Executive leader Gieda we finally got the it changed to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights Yes, SECOND-I tried to call booking.com and it when from constant busy to being out on hold for over 20ish minutes and I finally just hung up from the frustration. Because the front desk wanted to help other guest while I was holding with Booking.com

We never had breakfast inside the Tropicana, we prefer to have a buffet breakfast which meant we We had to leave the Tropicana and go to another casino-“The Riverside” to enjoy a buffet breakfast. During our whole 52 wedding anniversary stay at the Tropicana the only meal/thing we ate inside the casino was a Nathan Hotdog

No refrigerator or microwave which almost seem standard these days. Not a gambler (I was in town for other reasons) so to have to walk thru the casino to get anywhere wasn't all that pleasant. No info about facilities in the room, I had to look up anything I wanted to know online.

Old delapitated casino hotel. The historical name doesn't get you anything special. They get you with the price so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Spend the extra money.

The restaurant and bar and the cocktail waitresses were not ready for the big crowd. The restaurant had over an hour wait each day we were there, we ended eating in the poolside cafe. The bar ran out of beer, everytime we ask a cocktail waitress for a drink, we were told "this is not my section."

The bed was comfortable. The room stayed cool.
