Hot water was very, very slow in coming thru, maybe a warning would have helped

Had to ask for cups for Keurig coffee maker, toilet paper, and bottom sheet of bed was too small and kept popping off mattress. Everything sparse.

My only issues were the hotel is a little dated and the doors all slam closed so when people are leaving their rooms, it's very loud and frustrating. The doors are also thin so you can hear conversations in the hall. The patio doors could use a replacement as they're noisy and we could hear the wind even though the door was closed.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The proximity to the beach, downtown and la Jolla were also great. And the grounds had a lot of activities if you didn't want to leave.

The view from our room was not nice. The food is expensive and not many choices from the restaurant.

Family Friendly and the cleanliness! I love the room service and the staff! I love how we didn’t have to leave the resort because there were a lot of things that my kids enjoyed like the playground, pool, seals and ducks.

The bathroom’s could use updating and the restaurant was a bit overpriced but it’s the only restaurant on site.

Room didn’t have a window so had to run AC all night. Carpets were dirty, some mold spots in bathroom. No microwave in room, just a mini fridge.

The room was a bit small and dated. It was functional and fine but the floor sagged in one spot and the bathtub also creaked underfoot which seems odd and suggests repairs are needed.

The staff was terrific. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. The Airstream coffee and quick bites was a favorite most mornings as we had early appointments nearby. The restaurant breakfast on Sunday was lovely and relaxing with delicious food and plentiful coffee.

There was a loud, late party one night directly above us. Hard for both the kids and adults to sleep.

I didn't like that the lights in the room were not too bright. The ac unit would not cool down too well. And it would be nice if the TVs had Netflix or other entertainment apps. Also we had trouble with a few gates opening we had to reverse a lot to find a gate that would open.

I liked how close things were. I loved how the property was clean and well kept. Also the ice machines were a plus!

We found ants inside the bathtub and the bathroom.

Staff was nice and cheerful. Our room was spacious with a huge balcony, and also a kitchenette with a microwave, real cups, and plates (not disposable cups and plates) and a dining area.

The sliding door was a little hard to open and close. The patio was not remodeled like the rest of the room. Other than this, no other dislikes.

I liked that the room was clean and well kept. I loved that the room provided a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave and even a toaster. Plates, cups and silverware was also available for our use. There was laundry on site which was a pleasant surprise. It was very nice having a heated pool and jacuzzi! We were able to go swimming despite of the weather being a little cold. I have already recommended this resort to my friends and family and plan on returning soon!

The resort is on the smaller side and everything is a little tight (parking, pool, etc.). Its obviously an older resort, but they do a good job of maintaining the facilities.

Location was excellent. Right on the beach (bayside) and a 5-10 min walk to the ocean. Helpful staff. Nice ammenities.

Housekeeping didn’t really show up the first three days so we finally had to call. Buildings sare very dated, as is the furniture. The heater is our room started making a very loud noise our last night and we lost hours of sleep.

Good location, room was large, pool had plenty of chairs. Enjoyed the private beach and access to chairs.
