Shower didn't get very hot. Water pressure was weak. Our room wasn't cleaned as well as we like between evenings. The heating unit was pretty loud and kicked on every 5 minutes all night.

Room was nice. Hot tub was lovely . Proximity to all the fun stuff. Property was quiet and well maintained. Shuffle board was a refreshing change of lobby games.

I didn't like the fact that I spent hard earned money to view the public parking lot, when my reservation said bay view. I've stayed here before, so I was expecting a room on the beach with a view of the bay. However, thats not what i got. It was missleading for the front desk to say, I could still view the bay over the parking lot. There should have been more info given to clearly state that it was a view of the parking lot, not the bay in the far distance. I would have not selected that, had I known I would be listening to cars and watching car lights light up my room all day and night I would have made another selection. If I wanted to view the parking lot, I would have stayed home and sat in my garage. It was disappointing that nothing could be done to move us to actually be where we wanted. It was also disappointing that there were no cleaning products in the room so we could wash the silverware and glasses that we used. When we requested them, they never came and we had to leave to catch a flight. Overall, the weekend was great, but would have rather wanted to get what I reserved, a room on the beach overlooking the bay. Especially since my best friend flew in from another state to be on the beach. Everything else was great, would still recommend the resort. Just be specific with your reservation and know your bay view might be in the parking lot.

My best friend flew in from out of state for a girl's weekend on the beach. We loved the propert and the quietness. Staff was friendly, resort was very clean. Room was spotless and beds were comfortable.

Air conditioning unit to close to the bed, resulting if cold blasts of air in the face at night.

Location is excellent, fantastic views from our room, the hotel rescue seals, because of their care they look very Healthy and content, so lovely to see them every morning, The pool area was very well equipped with plenty of loungers. Free parking.

Rooms are a little dated, older carpets. Our room has a bit of a 'damp' smell, but otherwise good.

Very good hotel, spacious rooms (our family of 5 was comfortable in the room). Lots to do on location (bikes, boating, some kids activities, beach). Short walk from Belmont park and mission beach. Beautiful resort grounds. Very good for families. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that parking was included in our resort fee.

lobby staff arrogant, at least 3 out of 4 I was dealing with. no room service short of staff according to them but room rates stay the same. mismatch.

The room smelled horrible, like wet dog. I know it’s San Diego and it’s humid but we have stayed at other resorts in the area and didn’t have that issue. It’s definitely an older hotel and is pretty expensive considering how old it is. The bathroom was small and the drain was broken so we had to bathe our kids quick before the water drained. We didn’t do baths until 2nd night there and didn’t want to switch rooms after being settled in. The morning of check out, we were loading the car and took the kids to play and when my husband went back to the room to get the last of our things, they were already in there cleaning our room! It was before 10:00 am and we hadn’t checked out yet. check out is at 11:00. I guess because the housekeeper saw us with some bags and our kids they assumed we were gone but they should have verified before going in. We even still had the do not disturb sign up. For what I paid for 4 nights with a resort fee, it wasn’t worth it overall in my opinion. We still drove everywhere we wanted to go since we have 3 small children and it had to haul too much stuff to walk. I would recommend staying somewhere else that is cheaper. The price was not worth it.

It’s close to sea world and the beach though I don’t recommend walking to either one. There is a restaurant on site but it’s very pricey and wasn’t consistent as we went 2 nights in a row for convenience and the second night was not as good as the first and we ordered the exact same dishes. We didn’t make reservations in advance but they were always able to get us on the list. We just checked in after swimming and then went back to the room to get ready because it was always at least an hour before we could get a table. The pool area and hot tub were nice and there is a small playground for kids on the property which was fun for my kids. Parking was free and we could get a spot fairly close to our room if we parked before 5-6. If we got back any later than that, we would have to park pretty far from the room.

felt the price was a little high compared to what you get- no smart TVs, to connect to Netflix you had to connect a laptop with an HDMI cable and then pay 59 a night for Internet speed that could stream video, pillows could have been newer,

Rooms are outdated and would have been nice to have Netflix or similar avail as we were rained in for one day. Fitted sheet didn’t fit so kept coming off while sleeping. The outlets in bathroom would pull away from the wall when unplugging a device. The bathtub faucet kept running. The fridge wasn’t cold when we arrived. Upon check-in the staff chatted amongst themselves rather than help incoming guests.

The view from our room was amazing and the location is convenient.

It's sad that Parents don't obey the rules and watch their children. We had an incident with unaccompanied minors in the Jacuzzi. They were doing belly flops in the shallow water disturbing everyone else and when we asked them to leave, the flipped us off. There parents were not even in the pool area. They were in their room.

We had a wonderful time. The Resort is Beautiful.

The pictures of the room on Booking.com were not of the room I thought I was getting. Apparently they use the same pics for different rooms and I didn’t double check website to make sure of what I was getting, but overall the room was still very nice.

The room we were put in faced the public beach, which really wasn't bad, but the old metal doorwall frame wasn't good at keeping noise down.
