      The breakfast food was great and loved the view at breakfast of the lake. Loved the place and loved meeting people by the fireplace. There are several to choose from. Comfy bed and beautiful Victorian house. Love that it was right by the gorge trail for the falls.

      The location was amazing and the room was cozy and nice , the staff were so friendly and welcoming and they helped me out with information and getting caps.

      The price was a bit expensive, and they asked for deposit 50$ and they didn’t agree to receive it cash for the deposit while I paid cash for the room 202$.

      Everything walls had stains that could have been wiped clean. Floors are sticky. Bathroom disgusting. I wouldn't shower there at all.

      Sink in bathroom clogged Toilet seat loose 75 dollar "incidental" fee still waiting to be returned, was told 30 minutes. Ceiling paint flaking and rotted over bed. Shower was uncontrollable Rugs filthy Furniture uncomfortable Breakfast was inedible...what's up with the eggs?

      We are frequent travelers doing many long road trips across different states and Durango Hampton Inn by Hilton is truly the worst we have ever stayed. First of all, the young girl named Ashley at the front desk is courteous but not helpful or friendly. We were filling up our water bottle at the front desk as they have a water dispenser there but the water flow from the spigot was slower than a snail. Ashley heard us said “it’s so slow” but she didn’t offer anything to help or tell us we can also get our water from the breakfast area so don’t expect any going above and beyond service here. Second, when we arrived at our room and opened the door, a smell of cheap cologne hit us on the face. We had to open the window to air it out. It seems like they use cheap cologne to hide the smell of the room. Third and the most disgusting of all is the the toilet bowl. It has black mold and you can see the black ring around the water in the toilet bowl. It seems like the housekeeping just flush the toilet, wipe it down and that’s it. Truly gross, disgusting and unsanitary! Lastly, while taking a shower, the shower knob cap fell off and hit me on my head and scared the crap out of me. Even though front desk offered to switch our room or have housekeeping come to clean the toilet. We didn’t want the housekeeping to come or switch the rooms as we already unpacked our stuff and were tired from the long drive and didn’t want to be disturbed. We decided to deal with all the issues since we only stayed for one night. We shouldn’t have to deal with these problems if Hampton Inn lives up to its 100% Hampton Guarantee™. It said “Making you happy makes us happy. So, if we can make your stay better, talk to any member of our team, and we'll make sure you're 100% happy. GUARANTED.™“. This is so misleading and false advertising! Be warned and don’t stay at Hampton Inn! There are many other quality hotel chains out there and are clean, staff are friendly and extra...
