How does it work?

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

    - “The food was the best I have ever had in any hotel, and I have been traveling for over 40 years!!!”

  • Cooinda Lodge Kakadu

    - “I stayed in a glamping tent and it was fantastic! The bed was cosy, the room spacious, and everything was impeccably clean. There was everything I needed plus more - even a mini fridge to store food and a kettle for tea/coffee in the mornings. The shared bathroom/shower facilities were clean and never too busy. I also highly recommend the food at the bar (I never at Mimi’s but just at the restaurant) - previous reviews hadn’t mentioned much about the food but it was phenomenal!! There is only wifi available in this shared communal area, but it worked like a dream. And it was nice being disconnected otherwise! The staff were amazing!! They were accommodating and communicative. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Cooinda lodge is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommend.”

Nothing was too much for them and they were always on hand to help whether it be to order a taxi, give directions, replenish room supplies etc. Each morning they served us with a wonderful breakfast. We used the bikes provided. The location is great, near shops and a few minutes walk from a gorgeous beach. We shall be rebooking for sure.”

This was the CLEANEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I saw employees cleaning everytime I left the room. Elevator door had a handprint when I went out to the car. Was wiped down by the time I walked back in. Perfection. Hotel layouts are all pretty much the same. Only things that really matter: clean, comfortable bed. This place nailed both!

Very dirty bedding. You could even see the dog prints on the bed. Fortunately we had a sleeping bags in the car we could use to sleep on and in.

Honestly the breakfast was the only thing that was 100% on point.

There were so many things that didn't live up to our expectations. 1. We did not get the room we reserved and extra charges were made(although resolved after I had to address it and keep standing in line) 2. The parking in the garage that is not attached to the hotel with broken elevators...very unsafe 3. No bedding for the vintage pullout couch that had stains and the shower was broken(no water) 😞

Designated spot 4 pets to use the bathroom wasn’t lit at all, had no cameras, & out of baggies to pick up feces to dispose of into an overflowing trash can. There wasnt enough cameras 2 cover parking lot, & ones that’re on the building are blocked by trees. When you walk in, you’re smacked in the face w/smell of marijuana/meth. Encountered multiple inebriated individuals; one stalked me &followed me when I went out to car or dog potty break. It became so ridiculous to the point that I left three days early because I was so terrified from the man. And they did not give me a refund on the two nights Also, nowhere did it say when booking the room that there’s a Nonrefundable pet deposit, & then on top of that you have to pay $10 a day for your pet. So what I thought was going to save me money for an extended stay hotel ended up costing me double of the facility I was staying at Previously. The kitchen was a joke. How are you going to offer a place to cook and not offer any pots, pans, or silverware? I ended up having to go buy cookware. No ice machines; only vending for snacks/drinks. They’ve washers/dryers. It’s either you use your phone to scan a QR code to pay three dollars for each cycle, or you use all coins. Which was OK, but there was no way to make change from dollar bills, & the front desk referred me to the nearest gas station to get change. The Wi-Fi policy also is a joke. You only get one device free per room for the entire length of your stay, with options to upgrade for each device you use. And it wasn’t cheap either. I believe it was around $10 for additional devices w/capped data. Lastly, nobody ever knocked on my door to offer me fresh linens,sweep/mop my floors, or take out my trash, where u end up taking to an overflowing dumpster surrounded by mud/sludge/slime. Wish somebody from management would contact me bc I feel like my money was completely wasted.
