The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Stefanosplace ApartHotel Sea View

    - “We had a wonderful stay at Stefanos' place - Jo and all of the staff were so welcoming! We discovered that the restaurant is not like a typical hotel afterthought, it's a beautiful stand-alone taverna with lots of delicious options for lunch and/or dinner until late in the evening, along with breakfast the next morning. There is a stunning sea view from both inside the restaurant and outside, on the multi-level patio (the rooms are behind it, further up the hill). Speaking of the hill, it is a rather steep one! We discovered that after we picked up our rental car near the airport then drove the half hour to check out the place for lunch on the way to Kalami - we had to turn off the air conditioning for our little Peugeot 208 to make it up the driveway. :-)”

  • The Pavilion Hotel Kuta

  • Villa Paraiso - Naturism Optional Adults Only

    - “We loved this naturist-friendly B&B! The facility is a large villa, with 5 rooms, a large shared living room and kitchen, great patio, sundeck, pool and hot tub. The owners, Roland and Ina, do everything personally. Guests are welcomed with a bottle of wine the first night. Every morning, they set out a full breakfast including coffee, fruit, cheese, yogurt, eggs, and breads. Guests can use the frig and kitchen as needed. There are a lot of restaurants and beaches close by. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and, of course, the pool and outdoor grounds are clothing-optional.”

I liked that each floor was banned after a French artist and featured, works by them. The old-school elevator was also fun for my kids.

    • Negative section of review

I was told to worry about parking and the safety of parking on the streets. I emptied out my car before the trip to San Francisco and risked parking on the street overnight. Fortunately, everything was safe on my car was not broken into. There was garage parking across the street that was not included with the hotel and they did not offer a discount for this hotel.

The wiring was a little funky. No power to the fridge, microwave and electronic plug in. A call to the operator, he told me to flip the light switch next to the door. Some peeling walls and added lights in the hallway, it is obvious the place is in need of a major renovation.

The staff except Santiago are rude, condescending, arrogant and disrespectful. To be clear, upon arrival I was asked if my dog is a SA. I indicate she is both van SA and ESA. Staff member Ebony asked me what service she provides and I told her she alerts for seizures. Ebony decided that isn’t an SA covered event. I was simply too tired to educate her and said fine I’ll pay the $30 pet fee. Once I got to my room I noticed it was awfully warm. I adjusted the thermostat and no change. I then called front desk and Ebony told me it was not their job to fix the AC and I should unplug it and restart it to see if that helps. I did that and feel asleep waiting for it to cool off. At 1:30 am I wake up sweating to death and thankfully Santiago was at the front desk - he needs to be hired by a company that actually understands hospitality. Santiago switched me to another room, but I was unable to get back to sleep until 4:30 am. I had another 8 hour drive to undertake the following day so needless to say I was frustrated. In the morning I went to use the coffee maker. No tray to insert the coffee. I called front desk and spoke to a female who told me that happens sometimes and she can’t get me another one so I can come downstairs and get coffee myself. Santiago was still there when I went down and let her know about the AC situation he helped me with and she blew it off. I brought to her attention that I expected to be compensated for the AC not working. She told me the manager was not there and they’d likely tell me I should’ve fixed it myself! I reminded her that it is BWs job to provide a proper room and my job was to pay for the use of the room including a working AC and coffee maker not to be their maintenance personnel. I also told her I expected to hear from someone at BW regarding the manner in which my stay was handled. I am still waiting.
